2 Corinthians 12 v 10
That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weakness, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties.  For when I am weak, then I am strong.

This is beautiful scripture from my faithful friend Paul.  We understand what He is going through when we become a disciple of Christ. We are all given the chance to be called an disciple of Christ Jesus by the will of God. Whether we here the call or listen to our Lord in our lives is the answer if we are called or not. When we go through hardships in life, we will feel a sentence of suffering.  This happens so that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises us past all suffering even through death.  It is God who makes us stand firm in Christ.  We are often made to prove our joy in Christ and not in ourselves.  With the same Spirit Paul speaks we also speak.  God is the one that comforts us in all our troubles , so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have receive from God.  This is all the disciples belief given to them from God not themselves. I am different because God has made me different not anything I have done for myself.
 2 Corinthians 4 v 13-17
It is written:  "I believed; therefore I have spoken." With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak, 14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in his presence.15 All this for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. 16 Therefore we don not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

This is for those who believe we disicples of Christ are doing this for ourselves, our pride in who we are does not come from us but from who Christ has made us to be.  He gets all the glory. It is through my life He has made known His purpose and His glory; not mine.  For those that think we boast in ourselves, we do not.  We boast in how God has changed our lives through Jesus.  We boast on His power, His mercy, His healing and His grace that is being offered to all of us.  I am nothing, I am lost, I need mercy, I need healing, I need His grace and power to be what He created me to be, my true self.  We are all made in His image, but we have all fallen from that image through sin, we have been forgiven only if we ask for forgiveness and repent.  This is when our Lord will come into our lives, this is when He will take over our lives and complete us from within. We all go to Him as little children; humbly. Christ wants this for everyone, join me in knowing who He truly is. Get to know Him through scripture, through prayer, through His love for all of us. If you are a daily sinner and sin willingly everyday, repent, ask for forgiveness.  Let him heal you daily through scripture and obedience through His teachings. Let Him lead you to a wonderful journey through life and death, to be with Him in Heaven.  This is our temporary home our true home is with Him in Heaven.  When He says, "Come", GO, do not delay any longer.  Do no wait like I waited, do not waste years not knowing Him like I wasted.
I wrote on my last Blog about our nation and how it is getting more and more away from God than closer to God.  We accept abortion as a way of life whether we have less or not, we still accept it as a way of life.  We accept homosexuals as a way of life, whether there are more of them coming out or not, we have accepted it as a normal way of life. Whether there are more divorces or murders in our nation or not, we have accepted it as a way of life.  This is what I meant when I was talking about our nation.  In inner cities gang killings have become a normal way of life. Whether murders has grown or not I do not know for sure because we can only go by those that have been found or reported. There is still a lot of adults and children missing, what happened to them?   I know America still has the highest murder rate in the world. I know we are in a war and people around the world are experiencing bombings and deaths through mass killings.  You only have to watch the news for this to be proven.(Remember 9-11.)  I know that America is shown to have the highest rate of deaths from child abuse and neglect of any industrialized nation but I do not know this to be true either because Africa has abused children for years through using children for work to pay off debts. I know a lot of people think Christians are telling people this to prove the world is going in the wrong direction. What purpose would this solve for them if it were not true.   I do not believe we are doomed, I still believe Christ can change more people into knowing their true selves by knowing Him. I am proof of Him using me to do that, I was once lost and now I am found.  I was once blind but now I see! I use every new ability He gave me for His purpose, this is why He gave them to me, for me to use them for His purpose, not mine. We are all on this journey together, we encourage with kindness, patience and love for those who want to know who our Lord is. For the ones that don't want to know the truth or face the truth of who our Lord is we love them and pray for them daily never giving up. We only speak the truth by the lives people truly live, through the Holy Spirit He gives us.  I did not live a life of following Christ for many years but now I do.  I am being lead closer and closer to Him each day because I want to be, I am hungry for His teaching and seek Him daily in my life. I love the world more than I have ever loved the world because He first loved me.
Thank you for reading my Blogs and responding to them, may all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and rejoice in thanksgiving what the Lord has given you. Many prayers always, Vicki Gann

Abortion, homosexuality, and divorce seem like something that is very personal to you. I am sorry if I offended in last conversation. I just don't like statements that are not based on facts. I happen to have a lot of gay friends who serve the Lord. I am blessed that they call me friend. Abortion makes me sad; however, if the numbers are lower that means that fewer people are having them due to education on other alternatives. I think the focus should be on people getting pregnant before they are ready. That seems to be the main issue when it comes to abortion. We must continue to educate young people to wait until they have found a life-long partner before pregnancy. I am not here to judge though. I am here to hug the world and spread the Love that He gave me so freely.
