Mathew 10 v 16
"Look, I'm Sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as serpents and as harmless as doves.
When we become Disciples of Christ He will send us to the most unexpected places to find Him. He sends us places most people would never imagine His presence. Jesus says, "Greet a household when you enter it, and if the household is worthy, let your peace be on it. But if it is unworthy, let your peace return to you."
What qualifies a house of being worthy? Is it the looks of a house, how clean or how organized it is? Is it not worthy because they have too many afflictions or addictions? I believe God is talking about the Spirit of a house and how they want to receive God's peace, help and guidance in the changing of their lives that qualifies if a house is worthy of receiving Christ's peace or not. When we are sent out to do God's work and we are received with a worthy Spiritual heart there are no questions, only our Lord; His presence and power.
I have been shown this week the most broken and the most weak raised up through the most devastated circumstances. It reminds me of Job through all His suffering, He never questioned God's presence but His friends sure did. They had all the answers in how He brought his suffering on Him self by His behavior and choices. Christ has taught me there are many divisions' in our thinking just as there are many through out scripture. There are some that seek Gods help through there suffering always and will always wait on His plan no matter how long they suffer, they never loose their patience. It is not our job to question how God works, only to know that He is working. When we begin to question and have our own answers our faith is drained. He is working through all of our suffering, that is why we should always be has harmless as doves, through someone else's suffering.
I have learned a lot from my friend who has suffered much because I have always seen the power of God in Her Spirit.
