Good evening! Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 1v7
Today we are testing our selves with God's definition of "full acceptance."
1 Timothy 4v9 This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance
In this letter Paul wrote to his beloved young friend Timothy. Paul is giving much needed instructions and guidance to Timothy. What principals was he telling Timothy and us to command and teach, and what saying deserves our full acceptance. Paul tells us in later times, which today is the later times, some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits. People will forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created for those that know the truth to enjoy. Paul is telling Timothy and us to tell the brothers that everything God created to eat is good to eat, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God in prayer. That means when we bless our food that He created by the word of God, it is all good. He says if we point these things out to each other we will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, brought up in the truths of the faith and of good teaching that we have followed. He also tells us not to have any thing to do with godless myths and old wives tales; rather train ourselves to be godly. He says godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life which means now on earth and for the life to come which is in heaven. Godliness saves us here where we can enjoy an abundant life on earth more than we could ever imagine.( Ephesians 3v20 Now to him who is able to do more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work in us) It is us that does not have full acceptance in His power that limits His power in us. Our nature should become a new divine nature, the same nature of Jesus Christ. If we believe and have full acceptance in our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, and especially of those who believe, we will be producing godliness. We will have full acceptance, meaning we are full of faith in God our Savior and we set an example of that full acceptance in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. We will be diligent in these matters because we watch our life and our doctrine closely. The Holy Spirit will guide us with perseverance in watching our lives and the word closely because He tells us it will save ourselves along with our hearers. Do we have full acceptance? Read 1 Timothy 4 I love everyone with the love Christ gives me for you!
