As a result of laying our lives down are we being lifted up by His love?

Good morning! Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 1v7
We are testing ourselves today with God's definition of "down". John 10 v 17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life-only to take it up again.
We often remember the first part of Jesus's message and forget the last part. We think we are laying our life down but we realize we are not being lifted up. The only way we are lifted up is by His gift of the Holy Spirit. We lay our lives down on our own accord but we do not experience the authority from the Holy Spirit that lifts us up. We still have pain that we can not get rid of. We are sick all time, we worry and have doubt more than we want to admit to ourselves much less to others. We try so hard to grow inwardly but have no success. We lay it down but we have no faith in it being down. We may not want to give up part of ourselves we are holding on too, out of fear, unbelief or pride in what we have accomplished. We may be looking at others through judgmental eyes condemning them and not truly loving them into knowing our Father in Heaven which is their Father also. Jesus goes on talking about our unbelief in laying down our lives in Him raising it up. He believed God could do all things but like us He was human and did not believe His humanness could with stand what God was asking Him to do for us. He did what He always did, He prayed and our Father lifted Him up through a visiting Angel. He replaced His fear with His strength so He could be all that God wanted Him to be. When His job was finished, God lifted Him so high that His love could flow through all the universe! God lifts us up the same way when we lay down our lives for Him. He gives us all things because we lay down our lives for Him to be used for His good purpose, so His love can flow through us where ever He sends us. He will bring each one of us to a place where we can not accomplish anything on our own. We can give our lives to Him on our own accord or we can suffer through this life, be tossed back and forth through our circumstances and relationships never knowing who He created us to be for this life. Never knowing His plans for our daily lives as well as our future. We can choose to be who we create ourselves to be, going our own way, climbing out of the pit ourselves. By choosing not to lay our life down for Him, we will never know the true peace He can only give, the true freedom we receive from not having to worry about our lives because we have laid down our life to Him. The love we receive from laying down our lives surpassing all human understanding. We have received faith in Him from that love He gives us. We know this because He has lifted our lives up through the Holy Spirit of truth, to where we could never imagine ourselves, above the cares of this world. I love everyone with the love Christ gives me for you!
Many prayers,
Vicki Gann
