Who is reminding us of who we are?

Good morning! Grace and peace to you from God our
Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 1v7
We are testing ourselves today with God's definition of "remind"
John 14v26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
There are many choices to choose from in the world to receive peace, acceptance, honor, glory, praise, value, comfort, hope, faith, and most important love. We can rely on ourselves our "flesh" and others to remind us of who we need to be. We can rely on our bosses to pat us on the back and say, "good job". We can rely on our parents telling us what good children we are. We can rely on people telling us how kind and considerate we are, and how we made them feel better because we said a nice word to them in their times of trouble. We can rely on the world making us "Saints." We can rely on being honored for our work and our accomplishments with great banquets and awards that testify how hard we worked and how talented we are. We can show love to many people and have thousands and thousands of people love us because we are kind to them and not have one enemy in the world. We can have thousands and thousands of people show up at our funeral praising us in what a wonderful person we were and how much we did for the world. We can rely on wise men and women teaching us the ways of the world. We can rely on our own mistakes teaching us and giving us wisdom. We can be all this and be successful in the world and make a big difference in the world but if we do not know the love of God through the Holy Spirit reminding us of who we are and teaching us all things, all the other things we accomplish in this world will be meaningless. Our own love for others with out Him being the reason for it will not comfort someone beyond you. When we love someone, we love them through the Holy Spirit that tells them about the love of God and that love will be sufficient enough for them and us. His love is the only love that can rightly change them enough to make a difference in their circumstance or their relationship. The love of God is a Spiritual Gift from God through the Holy Spirit it is not our own natural love. We do not keep that love to our self, we share it fearlessly and boldly. If we do not have the love of God everything we do or say will be meaningless. If it is coming from Him you will tell people it is His love that comforts, it is His love that gives ever lasting peace, it is His love that changed you enough to truly care about them. (1 Corinthians 13v3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.) Let the Holy Spirit remind you about God's love and when you receive the love of God you will be receiving all you need in this life. His grace is all we need to remind us of who we are, it is sufficient enough for us. (2 Corinthians 12v9 But he said t me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.) The more we rely on other choices to remind us of who we are, the less we will be rightly related to our true self, the Holy Spirit which is God in us. I love everyone with the love of the Holy Spirit, he always reminds me of the love He has for you!
(Read John 14 and 2 Corinthians 12 and 13)
Many prayers,
Vicki Gann
