Good morning! Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Today we are testing ourselves with God's definition of blessed. Luke 1v45 Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished!
God blesses all of us whether we are righteous or unrighteous so we will turn to Him and recognize it is Him blessing us. For those of us that believe in Him by humbling ourselves to His plans out of the love we have for Him we will be continually blessed through out our lives. Our soul will glorify the Lord and our Holy Spirit will rejoice in God our Savior. We are so thankful that He is mindful of the humble state He has put us in because we have given ourselves to Him He is mindful of who we are. He lifts us up each day because we are humble and hungry for His love is why He fills us with His love. He shows us mercy because we fear not pleasing Him, we fear losing His love, and we fear losing His presence guiding us. Fear for the Lord is a fear we are suppose to have, the only fear we are suppose to have. We are not suppose to fear talking about Him, that is us fearing rejection. We are not suppose to have a fear of not knowing what is going to happen to us or our loved ones today into tomorrow, and we are not suppose to have a fear of death. When we let fear in to live our faith is gone. A true children of God's fears are not of this world, we should only fear Him. We fear letting Him down by not obeying Him and completing His will for our lives no matter what His will for us is. The love we have for Him compels us to always want to accomplish it and willingly accomplish it. We should not suffer to do His will we should always be at peace and have joy while accomplishing it. If we have fear it is because we are getting in the way of the blessing. Like Mary and like Jesus they were blessed through out their lives into their deaths because they chose to believe in what God said and what His will was for their lives. Jesus feared His human part was not able to with stand God's will but His fear was answered by prayer and the coming of an angel that God sent to refresh Him. We all have fear but those that believe will get refreshed and reminded of God's will in our lives and by our faith fear is cast down under our feet or put behind us, we are living a blessed life. Mary was favored by God because she lived a life pleasing to the Lord because she was with Him, He was with her and she was blessed to give birth to our Lord and Savior. This blessing I could not imagine on my own but the Holy Spirit lets me know it goes way beyond what I could imagine, and feels me with joy and peace. Mary knew the certainty of what she had been taught to this point in her life. I am sure she was afraid but her fear was overtaken by her faith and belief in God. Those of us that recognize that it is God blessing us because we are certain of the things we have been taught by our Lord and Savior through the Holy Spirit we have faith in Him through all things, we will live an abundant life here on earth as well as in Heaven! (Read Luke 1) I love everyone with the love Christ gives me for you, through the promise of the Holy Spirit of truth, that gives me true love for you that never fails and always endures.
