What are we bringing to Christ?

Good morning! Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Today we are testing ourselves with God's definition of bring.
Matthew 14v18 "Bring them here to me, " He said.
There were five thousand men  besides women and children that were fed that day. The disciples did not know Him and His abilities to provide for them all things in life. That day they had not yet received the Holy Spirit so they could not go past their natural abilities and their natural way of thinking. They were still operating in their natural way of thinking and natural abilities, they could see past themselves. What they could see formed doubt in their mind of what God could do, and that will always hinder God's power of working in us. The first doubt was created by them looking at the place they were at. We often look at the place we are as defining our resources we have. We are too poor, I have made to many mistakes to be an overcomer, we have no transportation, we have no home, I am going through a divorce, we are too busy, my work is too important, I have to make money to survive so I can have all the things in life I need, I have to be successful in the world to have peace and comfort and so on and so on. The second doubt was the timing was wrong; it was getting late. We often think it is too late for us to get help from our Savior. This keeps us from receiving His power in us and then we receive it much later than we could have in our life. He is always waiting for us to turn to Him now, today, and be heeled there is no time in God's time except right now. Today is the day for salvation! Right now you can be all that He requires you to be it doesn't matter what you have done in the past or what you will do in the future. Right now you can have faith in His power working, that is within you, to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think because we will give Him all the glory and the praise for everything we receive in this life! Because He is our Lord and Savior right now, and because He is right now, He will be for eternity.  He provided for all the people because Jesus Christ  had faith in God providing for them with more than enough they needed, and He did! The third doubt was the disciples created something to do through their own minds that made sense to them. When we go ahead of God we will always miss seeing His power working in us, through us and all around us. We will only see our work and what that may accomplish. We may get results and everyone get what they wanted from your outlook but not what they need and we will never see God's outlook because we did not have enough faith to wait on Him, we would be missing a great opportunity in seeing His power work. When we go ahead of God we will not be able to see the power of God and His glory which always gives us more than we could ever imagine, and it will always be more than enough for us, so we can share what is left with others, spiritually and physically. When we go ahead of God we will not feel His presence at work in us, which enables us to receive more love, hope, joy, peace and faith in God. We will also  miss out on being used more by Him for others, which leads us into the fourth doubt. The forth and final doubt was the disciples doubted they could give them something to eat their selves by Christ working through them. Christ told them the people did not need to go away, for the disciples to give them something to eat themselves. The disciples looked down at their baskets, just like we look down at our own abilities, and said, "We only have." We say, "We have here only ourselves in what we can provide......doubt, fear, worry, unbelief, no food, no place to live, no abilities, no money, no way out for ourselves, no help, no way I can be healed from my sickness, and no way I can help others."   He said the only thing that should matter to us, "Bring them here to me." Bring your problems here to me and I will.....Then He directs our lives through the Holy Spirit, His power will be at work in us.  He will lead us in how we are suppose to follow Him. Then He helps people through us just has He fed the five thousand plus through the first disciples, He still does today. He will give us all we need to overcome all we face in life, from poverty to fulfilling His way of  success through us helping others. His love will direct our paths on which way to go. We will never stray away from His way because we know His way is the only true way we can be fulfilled, we know by His presence living in us by His gift of the Holy Spirit. So we need to  bring all of ourselves to Him and He will direct us in which way to go. He is the truth, the way and the life, we are to live now on earth into Heaven, He is who we are! Read how Jesus fed five thousand plus, by having faith in the power of God working through Him, read Matthew 14 v 13-21. I love everyone with the love Christ gives me through the power of the Holy Spirit that enables me to do all things for others.
Many prayers,
Vicki Gann
