Good morning! Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Today we are testing ourselves with God's definition of mystery.
Colossians 1v27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
There are many mysteries in life we want to solve but the most important and the only one that truly matter is Christ in you. There are two people here in God's message. The them are the saints He has chosen to tell the people that do not know the mystery. This is how He creates His miracles everyday in this imperfect world. He works through those He has chosen to tell the ones that might believe in hope they might receive the message of Him living inside them by acknowledging the gift of the Holy Spirit calling out to them from within. The ones He has chosen always thank God for those He has brought them to tell because the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for them in heaven has come to them. Those He has chosen know that all over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among those they have told since the day they have heard it because they understood God's grace in all its truth. The other person, other than the chosen to tell, is the chosen to receive. God chose all to tell and all to receive. (Colossians 1v16 For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorizes; all things were created by him and for him) When God says all things He means all things. God was please to have all His fullness dwell in Christ because through Him all things could be reconciled to himself. Not one of this way of thinking, and one of that way of doing, but all things be reconciled to himself. His blood gives us a new life, a new way of thinking and it is Christ in us wanting so much to be set free and live, this is the mystery we the chosen proclaim to the ones that do not know He is within them. So for us that have been chosen and we all are chosen but not all of us have chosen to believe. For those He has chosen because we do believe in God our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. We believe through Him God reconciled to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood on the cross. We who are saints were once alienated from God just like everyone else and it is God that has chosen us to be servants, because we believe Jesus Christ is Lord of our lives. We proclaim to others about His love so they in turn can be encouraged in heart and united in love so they to can have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of Christ living in them that has been revealed to us. Have we received the mystery of knowing Christ by being united in His love? Is His love in us working because we are proclaiming Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with His wisdom so we can present everyone perfect in Christ? To this end do we labor, struggling with all His energy, which so powerfully works in us? Do we share His love with others enough to know we will always be with those that love Him in Spirit and we are delighted because we grow when we see how firm their faith in Christ is? Read Colossians 1 and 2. I love everyone with the love and encouragement Christ gives me for you!
