Good evening! Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Today we are testing ourselves with God's definition of tell.
John 11v40 Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?"
How many times do you think Jesus has said this to us that say we believe but we are always in shock when He does something He said He would do or has promised us. Did I not tell you, was one of His comments to me many times before I became a true walk in faith believer. He talks to God and tells Him he is thankful that He answers and hears his prayers and He knew His Father always heard Him. He knew means He has always known in true faith His Father answers and hears what ever Jesus says. This is a perfect example of how we are always suppose to pray and talk to God as if He was right beside us, knowing He hears and knowing He is a Father that wants to give us all we need. Jesus loved Mary and Martha (John 11v5) But he stayed two days where He was because his Fathers plan would give them more of what they needed than what seamed to be needed by His disciples and the sisters. We often do not believe what He tells us because what we want does not seam to be the correct answer for us. God's plan and His timing is perfect and we have to always trust in that. No matter what circumstance we face, we can be certain that Jesus knows all about them and sees them in context of God's perfect plan. We can send urgent requests like Mary's, and He will always listen. He wants us to look not just for expected answers but for things we can not see or already know. Miracles and wonders beyond what we can grasp. So His power can be revealed in our daily lives and we will believe all things are possible and experience a faith walk life filled with blessings, including the ultimate blessing of living forever with Him. So today you can say, "Yes Father and Savior you did tell me if I believed I would see the glory of God, and I did and do see, because I believe, THANK YOU!!
I love everyone with the love He gives me for you! (Read John 11)
