Good evening! Grace and peace to you from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Today we are testing ourselves with God's definition of days.
Psalm 90v12 Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
This Psalm is a prayer from Moses the man of God. We that are seeking to know our Lord want to make everyday count for Him, we do not deserve to make our days count for us. He has always wanted us to dwell with Him and receive all that He has for us so our lives will be glowing in the light of His favor so He can receive all the glory in who He is making us to be. What we do is dedicated to Him every day of our lives. What ever we have lost in the past from not being in His presence, when we dwell in His presence He makes up for in what He gives us within ourselves. This is why we should never delay in making Him the Lord of our lives. His Spirit of truth which gives us His wisdom of joy we can receive through out our lives. God performs deeds within each of us that establish the work of our hands, and we rest in His presence having faith that His favor rest upon us. Moses prayed this prayer during the doubt and unbelief of the Israelites. Moses knew who God was. Moses knew His anger, He knew they needed to fear Him and not the things of the world around them. Moses also knew His mercy and grace. He prayed that the people would know Him has He did. He wanted God to teach them to make everyday count because He knew their lives were not very long. He knew what they do during their short lives determined their favor and peace. Praise our Lord Jesus Christ for dying on the cross for us so we can know what God wants from us. That we are able to know He guides us by the peace and love we receive. He gives us new abilities to glorify Him and He does establish the work we need to do to glorify Him with our hands and our minds. We know His deeds and see His mighty works every day of our lives because through the Holy Spirit He does teach us to number our days aright. It is Him doing His deeds within us, so we can not only experience the life He wants for us here but also live with Him forever! His love never fails! We need to make every day we have count for Him so others may know His favor so they also will know His deeds and count their days for Him so we can see His glory over and over and over again every day! Read Psalm 90 and 91. I love everyone every day with the love God gives me for you!
