Good afternoon! Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Today I am dedicating my devotional to a dear sweet friend of mine that has completely given herself over to God and has completely been healed because of her complete faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. She has helped me as I have helped her to continually give myself completely to the Lord everyday as she has. Thank you Father for continually giving us people to encourage so we can imitate each others faith.Thank you Elisabeth Mann for being completely God's so we can continue to inmate each others faith together. I know through us He will continue to work so others will increase their faith in Him and completely give their selves to Him so they can be healed completely and live the blessed life they were created to live here on earth and even greater in Heaven! This devotional today is for you my dear friend.
Today we are testing ourselves with God's definition of complete. Acts 3v16 By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see.
This should not surprise us as Peter says. We who look at people and see people doing this, and people doing that, do not know the power of Jesus. We like Peter say why do you stare at us as though it was by our own power or godliness we had made this man completely healed, this person turn to God as Lord of their lives and receive salvation, or this person have more faith. We are only witnesses of God's power that He works through as Peter was, because we have faith in Jesus Christ's and His power working through us. The beggar was expecting to get something from Peter but not what He received. We to expected something from God but we never can imagine what we will receive from our faith. Faith is believing what we hope for and what we can not see. It is always going to be beyond what we can imagine but by faith in Him and His power we know we are healed completely. Some of us live always expecting something else besides what God's power can give us. Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk." This crippled beggar walked and jumped praising God for His miracle, He knew who healed Him, but He could never imagine what He was going to receive. We walk in faith loving Him and He loving others through us and we receive His glory everyday but always we can never imagine what we will receive. When we see people healed completely we should see them as someone different than before they fully surrendered to Christ. Their faith in Him has increased, their patience is His patience always increasing, their joy is never ending, they have a gentleness to deal with certain situations they did not have before, they have a boldness to walk and speak the truth about Jesus Christ being their savior as Peter and the beggar did, and we believe they changed completely because we have changed completely through our faith in loving Him. Peter goes on and boldly says, they, as we do, act in ignorance. He tells them to repent and turn to God so their sins can be forgiven and be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. I believe God's says "may come refreshing times" because it depends on how much of ourselves we want to give Him through our faith in Him. God says through Peter we must listen to every thing Jesus tells us by believing in Him or we will be completely cut off from among his people. He sent Jesus first to bless us by cleansing us from our sins and He has given us a new life by the gift of the Holy Spirit. He turns each of us from our wicked ways. By His grace we are completely healed in all areas of our life! I love everyone completely through God's complete love He gives me for you! Read Acts 3
