Why and who are we strengthend by?

Good morning! Grace and Peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Today we are testing ourselves with God's definition of strengthen.
2 Chronicles 16v9 "For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those who hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish thing, and from now on you will be at war."
When we have faith in Jesus Christ being our Lord and Savior we can be the people God is looking for. We can be those people that are fully committed to the Lord because we have been given the Holy Spirit to guide and counsel us into giving our hearts fully committed to our Father God. We can not do this and be the person God wants us to be without the Holy Spirit. Many tried to be devoted to the Lord as Asa's was at one time, His first battle, but He let His fear of his troubles of the world the second battle lead Him in relying on other resources instead of our Lord and Savior. Asa did not have the Holy Spirit, like all Kings God provided them with a prophet that God spoke to the King through. The Kings were suppose to ask the prophet what decision God wanted them to make and the prophet would ask God and then the prophet would tell them God's answer. Sometimes the King would not ask the prophet or acknowledge God being their Lord and the one establishing their lives and the prophet would go to the King and tell the King what He did wrong after the act, just as it was in Asa' case. (2 Chronicles 16v7) Asa not only made a deal with out consulting God he took all the money and did what He wanted to do with it. One plan after another was made only through Asa's own wisdom and not consulting with God at all. We today do this over and over again thinking we are pleasing God and we do not receive peace, joy and faith in our lives because we are not living our path God has planned out for us. No only did Asa get up set with the message His prophet brought Him, He got angry with the messenger and put him in prison. Some Christians today get upset with brothers and sisters in Christ when they are trying to help them, out of the love they have for them, go down the right path God as planned for them. They cast them down instead of praising God for using them to enlighten them to repentance to a better relationship with our Lord. We will always be at war within ourselves when we do not give ourselves to God wholeheartedly. When we rely on our own strength and do not rest in His strength we will always be living a self-inflicted war within each of us. In Asa case after putting his prophet in prison, Asa was afflicted with a disease in his feet. He was still upset from being rebuked because of His pride. He was still separated from God even though his disease was severe, he still did not seek help from the Lord, but only from the physicians. For two years Asa suffered and died. Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross because we have insight ourselves from the peace you give each of us to follow you, and when we are not aware of going down the wrong path, you give us brothers and sisters that you love us through to help us get back on the right path. The love we receive through the forgiveness of our sins grows in us with our faith we have in you, and then it pours out to others. We do not have to suffer like Asa did as long as we live to please the Spirit of God inside us, and knowing that His strength will always be given to us in all things, as long as we have faith in His love for us! I love all of you with the love God gives me for you! Read 2 Chronicles 14,15 and 16.
