Good morning! Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
Today we are testing ourselves with God's definition of fault.
Jeremiah 17v4 Through your own fault you will lose the inheritance I gave you. I will enslave you to your enemies in a land you do not know, for you have kindled my anger, and it will burn forever.
As long as we have faith in ourselves, the devil will sneak through the hedge God has put around us. He uses all kinds of evil spirits to corrupt our minds in thinking they are our idols and we are being drawn into idolatry and self-deception with out realizing it; the deceiver is leading us in the wrong direction. It could be the evil spirit of pride, anger, jealousy, serving people, serving works, serving the world with it's wisdom, or serving our own self piety. Whenever we consistently stay focused on what we think we need above obeying God's Holy Spirit we are threatening the power of God working in us. It is our own fault that we are suffering and the hedge around us has been breached because of our lack of faith in our Lord being our Savior; we have heard of Him but our eyes have not seen Him. If we keep entertaining evil thoughts by lack of obedience to our faith in Him creating us who we are will be lost and alone in a place of fear where we have no security. Without Jesus Christ being Lord of our lives we still will be in God's anger, under his wrath. He can only forgive us through the cross, it is Jesus Christ that has taken our sins away for us so God see's Him in our place because of the gift of the Holy Spirit given to us to make us Holy. Our flesh can not receive God's forgiveness, no matter how hard we try we can not with out the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ. That is why Him and Him alone is our Savior, the only way, the truth and the light. When we continually let sin rule our way of thinking it is our own fault because we have lost faith in our LORD and Savior and we will loose our inheritance of eternal life with an abundant life here with many blessings and the power that exceeds all we can imagine or hope for that is within us. The Holy Spirit searches our hearts and mind for us through giving us grace to keep us from all ungodliness, we keep pleasing our Lord by staying close to Him in love by reading His word and obeying His teachings because we love Him! If you are letting evil thoughts in your mind or your heart to destroy His power, you are not letting the Spirit guide you. ( Matthew 9v4 Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, "Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?) Don't be those that evil thoughts rule them or entertain them, let the Holy Spirit ask you, "Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?" We want to be those that will never loose their inheritance by keeping our Faith in our Lord and Savior by the gift of the Holy Spirit living inside us! Read Jeremiah 17 and Matthew 9
