Good morning! Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Today we are testing ourselves with God's definition of courage.
Matthew 14v27 But Jesus immediately said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid"
We do not have the courage to do what Jesus requires us to do with out Him. We do not have the strength, courage, joy, peace and love to sustain us and to be obedient and faithful with out FAITH in Him creating us into His image. To be reborn and not lacking anything means the old person is gone there is no more the old person in us "oh yea of little faith, why did you doubt?" If we are full of the Holy Spirit and given Him ourselves we no longer have faith in ourselves but in His power and strength, we can walk on water. We do not look at the circumstances around us through doubt, complaining, anger, jealousy, or pride. We look through His eyes and see a totally new picture. It might be raining but we need the rain to bring out what is dead, we need the storm to prove the storm does not effect who we are, we have become overcomers. The storm does not effect us any longer because it does not effect Him in us, our burden is light because it is Him carrying it! We can walk on water, climb the mountain, move the mountain, sail through the storm, harvest the crop, and reap the blessings from what has been sown through us. All this we can do because of His courage He gives us, but we have to have faith in His courage by taking it, and walking with it day by day. When we have faith in Him giving us courage to do and be all things by what He gives us, our possibilities will be endless because it is Him making all our possibilities a reality, because He is real in us! When we have faith in God lifting us up above the storm, above the mountain, and receiving His promises through His many blessings, then people will know He is the one He claims to be. People will know that we do nothing on our own but speak, and walk through His words and down His path He has laid out for us. Peter had little faith when Jesus told Him to come, to walk on the water, but later after He received the Holy Spirit and met the new man inside Him He had faith to move mountains and give Jesus Christ our Father and Savior all the glory!! (Acts 4v13 When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.) When we have faith in Jesus Christ giving us courage He will make the wise seam foolish and the foolish, uneducated, mere ordinary men seam to have the same authority Jesus Christ had, people will begin to want what you have. The one's that do not want what we have, do not know Him or want to know Him, they are lost and confused, we pray and love them into knowing the truth of who our Father is by Him giving us all things; we too were once confused, lost and double minded. Today where does our courage come from? If we do not have His courage in us to take risk for Him proving His power is living in us, I believe we do not have enough faith in Him giving it to us. He is giving it to us and desperately wants us to take it and receive it, we simply have to receive it by FAITH and take it by letting Him live through us and then He makes us lie down in green pastures, He restores our soul, we shall not want for anything! (Read Matthew 14 and Acts 4) I love everyone with the love God gives me for you!
