Have we receive our new hearts?

Good morning! Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Today we are testing ourselves with God's definition of heart.
Jeremiah 24v7 I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.
Throughout the Old Testament God asked us many times to serve Him and Him alone. To love Him with all our hearts and to separate ourselves from everyone else by living by His laws and His ways and worshiping Him only with all our hearts and minds. He kept rescuing His people over and over again and they still would fall short of being who He wanted them to be; holy and true. Joshua summed it all up for us in one statement. (24v19 Joshua said to the people, "You are not able to serve the LORD. He is holy God; he is jealous God. He will not forgive your rebellion and your sins.) This was God's plan. He knew the laws, lists, and boundaries we draw for ourselves in our own minds could and would not ever save us. All of our promises to be righteous, all of our promises to serve God with all of our hearts, mind and soul He knew we could not keep. He knew all along He would have to give us a new heart, a new mind to redeem our soul. God tells of our new heart in Jeremiah 24 and then He tells of the new covenant in (Jeremiah 31 v 33 This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time," declares the LORD. " I will be their God, and they will be my people") Jesus Christ is that new covenant, we have been given a new heart through His sacrifice for our sins on the Cross. When we have faith in Him being our Lord and Savior and confess it with our new heart we will be the person that can love God with all of our Heart because our Heart is the Holy Spirit. Our sinful nature has no power over us any longer, only the power of God, the Holy Spirit in us do we want to please! God tells of our new heart in (Ezekiel 36v26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. This heart of flesh does not mean we think for ourselves it means our heart is soft like flesh and it will receive Him because our new heart is the Holy Spirit that is within us. When God sees us now, He sees His Holy Son and His Holy daughter that only seek to please Him because He has given us a new heart, His heart that can only seek Him. Today if we struggle with sin, if we are confused wondering if there is a God or if He is listening, if we are still trying to make ourselves be that person that worships God only, then we need to walk in the arms of Jesus and truly accept Him as our Lord and Savior, today and everyday! He is the only way, truth and the life. He is the way we follow, He is the only truth we live by and only through Him can we receive our true identity. He is the only true person that can and has ever pleased God, so through Him by faith in His love for us, we can be all God wants us to be and receive our new heart, mind and our redeemed soul! Open your new heart He has given you and put away your heart of stone. Only by Faith in the love of Jesus growing in our hearts everyday can our hearts be purified and cleansed! We can truly say, "I worship the LORD my GOD with all my heart and with all my soul"( Read Joshua 24 and Jeremiah 31) I love everyone with the love God gives me for you!
