Good afternoon! Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance. Today we are testing ourselves with God's definition of "inner being"
Ephesians 3v16-17 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
When we truly believe in Jesus Christ being our Lord and Savior our "inner being" will be changed. The evidence of our inner being changed will show up on the outside because our lives will be changed because of the power of His love that is in us. We will know God is for us and no one can hurt us. We know His love surpasses any human knowledge, and we are rooted and established by His love. We that believe because our inner being as been changed will know the mystery of Christ living in us because we know Him who is able to do more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. We know this because our lives have been changed and our prayers have been answered immeasurably more than all we have asked. We remember a time when we could not talk to God and we did not truly know God but now in Christ Jesus we who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. For He himself is our peace. Through faith in Jesus Christ we can all be built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. If he is dwelling in us, in our inner being, people should always see Him if they want to receive Him. If they themselves have Christ in them we all in the Church of Christ will be giving Him the glory throughout all generations, for ever and ever. If our inner being is not changed by the Holy Spirit we will not be living the life worthy of the call of God. Our lives may change but it will not be by His power of love given to us in our inner being. We will not be completely humble and gentle bearing with one another in love. We will not be making every effort to keep the bond of peace between us. We will not be living together with one body and one Spirit- we will not be worshiping one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. God gives us grace as He portions it because he will not give it to those that do not have faith in Him and who do not want to humbly be obedient to Him. Because he wants those who are infants, the ones that are tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there to be strengthen until we all reach the unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. As your inner being been strengthened by His power of love because of the faith you have in Him? Has His glorious riches become your glorious riches because Christ is dwelling in you by the faith you have in Him making you who you are? Are we loving people and desiring people to worship in one body, worshipping together through the same Spirit of holiness He has given us. Is it His love that is loving people through us because of the faith we have in Him and not faith in ourselves making us we are? Read Ephesians 2, 3 and 4.
