Why do we go about so much changing our ways?

Good afternoon! Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Today we are testing ourselves with God's definition of changing.
Jeremiah 2v36 Why do you go about so much changing your ways? You will be disappointed by Egypt as you were by Assyria.
We have become too accept many sins in the world and call it "change". There is only one way and that is through Jesus Christ. We today just as the Israelites did change our ways and say we are not sinning. Just has God told them He is still telling us, you will be disappointed in trusting yourself as much as you were in trusting the world. We could say also He is saying to us, "You will be disappointed in trusting the world as much as trusting in your selves." It is the same as nations as it is with individuals. Our nation is always going to fall when we are unfaithful as individuals just as we are going to fall when we are unfaithful. Christians have to be faithful for our nation to become faithful. He is always faithful so if we have fallen we need to turn to Him and repent!  He will pick us up and dust  off our clothes, so we can continue in having more faith in him guiding us by His love because we know how it breaks His heart when we falter because His heart in us brakes. If there is no guilt then we are being deceived by the god of this world and have become blinded to the light. We have become to stubborn in our own ways. ( Jeremiah 2 v 28 Where then are the gods you made for yourselves? Let them come if they can save you when you are in trouble! For you have as many gods as you have towns, O Judah.) Has our idols become many gods to us. Have our own idols become our own accomplishments, our own ways, our own sins we have accepted as a new change. Our pride in ourselves making us who we are has blinded us to pride in our Lord and Savior for making us who we are. Have we become people that have a mind to go each our own way changing our sinful ways to match our lifestyle we have created. Have we become people that claim to know God but by our actions we are denying him.( Titus 1v16 They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.) Are we being deceived in thinking we are skilled in finding love because we have turned to every idol known to man to fulfill our love but nothing we have chosen is fulfilling us. God says for us to return to him as individuals so we can return to Him as a nation and He will choose us to be His Sons and give us the land of our inheritance, the land of plenty now and for eternity. ("Return, faithless people," declares the LORD, "for I am your husband. I will choose you-one from a town and two from a clan-and bring you to Zion.) If we return to the Lord He will cure us from backsliding by the gift of the Holy Spirit, through His Son Jesus Christ and we will be sealed to living a righteous and upright blameless life. Through the Holy Spirit we will feel the guilt of displeasing our Father and repent and ask for forgiveness before we are destroyed! Thank you Jesus for your promise of the gift of the Holy Spirit for those that truly believe. With Him guiding us we will not change our ways we will remain faithful trusting in the Holy Spirit of God within us, we will stand firm in our Faith in him, will not be destroyed. (Hebrews 11 v38 But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back I will not be pleased with him." v39 But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.) Don't be disappointed in your life because you change your ways from day to day, turn to our God and Savior and let Him change you so you will live by His ways and become the true person you are, a child of God reborn and living a faith filled life in Him. Read Jeremiah 2 and 3 and Hebrews 10.I love you with all the love God gives me for you
