Grace and mercy to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Today we are testing ourselves with God's definition of truth.
1 Corinthians 13v6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
This is what most Christians are getting away from. Some of us believe we only see the good in all people and do not see the bad, or evil. If that was the case we would all still be living in the garden of Eden and we will never be raised into having the true knowledge between good and evil and would not know of God's love through Jesus Christ. We see evil for a purpose, in ourselves and others. The purpose we see it is for of Him to get rid of it through His love working through us for us and for others. If we did not know evil how would we know the true love of God. We do not delight or dwell in evil but we rejoice in the truth, God's truth. When we have faith in the Holy Spirit because we love our Father and want to please Him for giving us His gift of grace that crucified our sinful nature, we will be given gifts.( Colossians 3v9 Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.) These gifts are what separates us from everyone else in the world that do not accept the love of God given to us on the cross. This gift of love from God gives us His eyes to see the truth of evil which we do not delight in but we know God's love will change this evil into His many gifts of the Spirit and this truth is what we share with others being the truth of who we are. We are not quick to anger, we do not keep record of wrongs, and we are not self-seeking. We are His children that He has put a seal of approval on and He has given us His righteousness, we are no longer being deceived and we share this truth of love with our loved ones that are being deceived. His love never fails and it binds everything together. (Colossians 3v14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.)This truth we rejoice in because we know the truth of His love from the lie of evil we do not delight in. The truth is we are all sinners but through His blood He has washed us clean and given us the right to be called His children! We delight not in evil but rejoice in the truth of His love and through His love, he saves us from evil. So today we need to recognize the suffering through the fall of man which we will recognize in ourselves and others through the gifts of the Spirit. We do not delight in us or them being deceived BUT we recognize it in ourselves and we love them enough to tell them about our Savior's love that saves us and them from all unrighteousness and evil, this truth we all rejoice in!!!(Colossians 3v11 Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.) (Read 1 Corinthians 13 and Colossians 3. I love everyone with the love God gives me for you!
