What amazes you?

Good afternoon! Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Today we are testing ourselves with God definition of amazed.
Mark 6v6 And he was amazed at their lack of faith.
Our Lord and Savior was amazed or marveled by two separate circumstances in his word. They both have to with a measure of faith. One circumstance He was amazed at their lack and the other he was amazed at how much the one person had, and He was not a Jew, he was a centurion. A centurion was a special officer in the Roman army. The place where their was a lack of faith that God led Him to was in his home town, his own people that knew him. All they could think of was who he was to them and not who God was creating him to be. They could not get past him being only a carpenters son, a son of an ordinary mother, and with ordinary brothers and sisters, James, Joseph, Judas and Simon. When they began to think with their own minds with their own understanding they took offense at him. At first they were amazed at his teachings, then the world and its wisdom brought another way of thinking in their minds. We too face this amazement when God has proven to be in our lives by the Holy Spirit creating his miracle of salvation in us and all around us. Do we stand firm in faith or do we let the persecutions and the pressures of the world snatch away what He has given us? Satan will try to remind us of who we were but like Jesus we know the truth in who God has made us through the power of the Holy Spirit and God's lasting word of faith that lives in us. They will not see many miracles in us or around us because of their lack of faith, and we too are amazed by their lack of faith because they of all people should know the change and the miracles that God has performed in our lives. When we keep the faith of God in us we too will reap a harvest if we keep our faith in Him and do not give up. (Galatians  6v8-9 The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life v9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.) If they knew him as a carpenter and an ordinary person I too would be amazed if I were him at their lack of faith of God performing all the miracles through me. The other circumstance is the opposite, but still about someone that was not from his own people. We often get all tied up in our traditions, our own past making us who we are and do not put all of it behind us. The Jewish people  were so tied up in tradition and "religious" worship by following the law of making their selves righteous by their own works, that they could not believe in having faith in a man having a one on one relationship with God, but this Centurion could. This too amazed our Lord and Savior. We too are amazed when people keep trying to get to heaven on their own effort, after we testify we use to believe this way. After all the miracles He has done in our life through our faith in Him, we too are amazed people are still trying to get to Heaven by their own efforts and not by faith. Not only the Jews but the gentiles too. After all He has done for us, his sacrifice on the cross, His forgiveness we receive by his gift of abundant grace that keeps on giving and gives us more faith in the Spirit that gives without limit. The perfect relation ship that gives us all we need so He can bless others through us. Others lack of faith amazes us just has others abundant faith amazes us! We learn who we are from both to glorify our Father more. The ones that lack faith can either embrace more by seeing the truth of who God is making us so He too can create more faith in them, or keeping living without faith and following God's plan for your life. The ones we encounter that have abundant faith by seeing their outcome of their way of life, we can receive more faith in our lives by imitating theirs. (Hebrews 13v7 Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. v8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.)Because Jesus was amazed we too should be amazed after all we have the same Spirit in us as he did. He too is living through us, so what amazed Him should also amaze us. Today we need to look in ourselves and see what amazes us. Read Mark 6v1-6 and Luke 7v1-17 and Hebrews 13. I love you with all the love God gives me for you!
