What tree are you perching on?

Good afternoon! Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Today we are still discussing our revelations we receive from our Lord when we read His parables in His word. We are discussing today the parable of the mustard seed in Mark 4v30-32. This parable tells us our Lord is still describing again the kingdom of God. What shall we say, meaning he is including us in his conversation, what shall we say the kingdom of God is like, meaning the one's that know God know the meaning and what his kingdom is like. What shall we say the kingdom of God is like? Thank you again for including us, your children in your conversations and giving us your gift of understanding so we know the meaning of the scriptures. He says to us this time it is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest seed you plant in the ground. This goes along with what identity we are suppose to have when we come to God. He says we are suppose to be like little children, humble, trusting, weak in Spirit, small in position, and small in wisdom and mind. (Luke 10v21 At the time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said "I praise you, Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father for this was your good pleasure.) Like Jesus when he was born he was not nothing special in the eyes of the world, born in a manger, no room for him in the inn. He grew up nothing special in the eyes of the world, a mere carpenters son, not wise in human worldly standards, a mere small identity through the eyes of the world; the smallest seed planted in the world. God had a bigger identity for Him to be glorified with; the great I am, the Great Almighty God! When He died on the cross He might had been small  through the eyes of the world but yet when planted, when he rose He became the largest tree in the universe, large enough for all of us that believe in Him to perch on so we are protected by His shade. Their are at least two revelations he give us in this parable, we can receive more as we grow in Him. One,  we will be as small as a mustard seed when we receive Him by faith. We will be like little children, and we too will grow larger by faith in Him. He rose so we rise! He lives so we live! Him making us larger than ourselves because we trust and have faith in Him! We too become a tree people can perch on until they become trees others can perch on, and so on,  and so on, and so on. He  loves and lives through us, so He can be glorified! Two, He is always going to give us His shade of comfort in this hot sun the world may create for us, as long as we perch under His tree of life by having faith in His life giving Spirit we will always receive His peace, and comfort as long as we have faith in Him giving it to us, He will. Thank you for Father for what you give me to share with all the other birds that perch on your limbs for comfort and peace!
