Good morning! Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Today we are discussing encouraging words and where they come from. Deuteronomy 4v39 Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth below.
We often want encouraging words to keep us going daily. We can get encouraging words from our natural-selves, our friends and family. Words like, you can do this, you are strong, you have wisdom, you can create things for yourself to get yourself out of the pit you are in. we all have a mind for wisdom but our true mind and souls were made for His wisdom and His understanding of it not our own. These are all encouraging words many people say to each other who do not believe in our Father being the Lord of our lives, many people call it common sense. We can save ourselves for a short time only to go down into another pit then another, then another thinking we are on the right path. There is nothing common about God's wisdom and understanding, it is different than our own understanding and wisdom and if His wisdom is in us, we are going to tell people that it is His, not our own. He always gets the glory of bringing us from where we were enslaved. It brings me back to something God asked me years ago. Has any other god, including making yourself your own god, ever tried to take from himself one nation out of another nation, by testings, by miraculous signs and wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, or by great and awesome deeds, like all the things the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes? Of course I was not in Egypt but I was enslaved within myself by my own human nature, the world and Satan, as was the slaves in Egypt. He went on to tell me I was shown these things that I might know He is LORD and God, besides Him there is no other. He tole me from heaven he made me hear his voice to discipline me. He went on and told me He did this to reveal his great fire and I heard his words from out of the fire. I experienced many miracles and blessing from Him and even knew they came from Him before He truly changed me and I was His reborn child, as did the slaves in Egypt the Israelites. But they could never have what we have through Jesus Christ our God and Savior, and I could never have what I have now what is within me and all around me if I did not receive my Lord and Savior . Only by faith in Him dying on the cross for us can we receive Him to heart. Only by faith in Jesus Christ, acknowledging Him and taking Him to heart did I truly know He is my LORD God and Savior in Heaven above and on earth below. I knew who He truly was and He reveled in me who I truly was and am, His child reborn made new in His image with our Father. Then He was living all these things through me, not I, but Christ living through me. Read Deuteronomy 4 for His encouraging words and remember who our Savior is, our new heart!
