2 Samuel 7v18 Who am I, O Sovereign Lord, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?
Whom am I that you have blessed?
Whom am I that you have forgiven my wretchedness, that cripples me?
Whom am I that you have shown favor by healing my heart by giving me yours?
Who am I that you are renewing my mind and giving me
your endless thoughts that out number the grains of sand?
Whom am I that you would confide in with your hidden desires and will?
The Lord answered, "It is not about who you are it is about who I AM!
So many of us today try so hard to save ourselves for Him,
as if He needed to be saved, or get caught on the wheel of self saving.
We were designed to work endlessly but not on the wheel of our own
understanding. Not with our own strength that quits from
exhaustion of thinking, and hopeless hearts suffering from endless despair.
When you wait, and rest in Him with His thoughts
He will give you plans for your future and you will walk steady
in your mind, in your heart with that vision whether through struggle
or strife He will give you His faith to remember that promise, with
a His hope that never disappoints, and His strength that never fails,
not because of who you are but because of who He is! Do you truly believe in
who He is because He has given you a new mind and heart to believe and know His will. If not turn in quietness now and receive His heart by giving Him yours.
Grace and Peace to you always from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!
