Good morning! Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Today we are discussing where our life with God begins. Romans 12v1 I Beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. We do not mind presenting our rational view of life and say that a man by controlling his instincts and by educating himself can produce a life which will slowly evolve into a life of God. This is our rational view, but if we view our life by the mercy of God and His gift of redemption from the cross we are dead and He is alive. We will give our crucified bodies to Him to restore as a reasonable act of worship now this minute and hour everyday. We would rather be rational instead of killing ourselves first for Him to live through so we go through a slow death which will slowly evolve into the life of God. We want to live in the carnal life and miss the fullness from the beginning because we do not begin with God's mercy. Giving ourselves to die for Him should be the most reasonable act if we are viewing our life from His act of mercy he has given us. We are not poor enough to realize the fullness of His mercy so we keep the rational part of ourselves and live through our flesh instead of the measure of faith He has given us. How long is it going to take God to free us from the morbid habit of thinking about ourselves? "Die already" He is telling us so I can live through you! How long is it going to take us to get sick to death of ourselves, until there is no longer any surprise at anything God can tell us about ourselves. There is only one place we are right and that is in Jesus Christ. "Be ye are a royal priesthood because of His mercy not because of anything we can do." The righteousness of God is not a characteristic we can create for ourselves as an act of worship it is the Holy Spirit of Christ himself living in us because we have died with Him because of His mercy that we received from Him. We know this by God's mercy we received from the beginning of our new life He gave us. He forgave me from my sinful inherited nature and replaced it with His because I died with Him and if I died he now this minute, hour and day he lives through me to teach me everything about Himself. If He lives through me by faith in Him living in me how can I still live. If you are still living go back and and receive more of His mercy you are not poor enough in yourself to kill all of you. I love everyone through God's grace and mercy sharing His truth.
