Why some of us are not receiving God's strength

Good morning! Grace and peace to you in abundance from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Today we are discussing how we receive God's strength from His power in us. Isaiah 30v15  This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: "In repentance ad rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would not have none of it.
Today we find that yesterday was no different than today. We too want to jump ahead of God the same way the Israelites our for fathers did, with our own power of deciding what is best for us in conquering our problems within ourselves and beyond ourselves we face daily. We proclaim our strength in making our own decisions, we proclaim we can pull ourselves out of the pit, and we claim our own work is God's work. We take counsel and form an alliance with people that support our own ideas and call them God's ideas. The Israelite formed an alliance with Egypt and put all their treasures with Egypt and her help was utterly useless. They were unwilling to listen to the Lord instructions from the prophets. They told the prophets to quit telling them  true vision's of the Lord they were tired of hearing about the truth they wanted illusions. They wanted themselves to be glorified they were tired of giving Him all the glory of making them and their lives who they were. They wanted the prophets to stop confronting them with the Holy One of Israel with His controlling instructions they wanted to go their own way. Since they rejected the message His prophets were told by Him to speak, God made their sin like a high wall, cracked and bulging, which collapsed suddenly in an instant. There strength would not hold up against anything they faced because of their lack of trusting in God, they would not listen or apply any of His instruction. They wanted to go their own way, with their own wisdom, and their own understanding by their own power and strength. We do the same thing today with our flesh being lifted up which is useless and meaningless. God tells us what our strength is and where it comes from and it seams foolish to the natural man. Only when you receive the Holy Spirit do you receive His truth. Our strength lies in repentance of our flesh and resting our souls in Him with quietness of our own thinking by receiving faith in His. Through our Lord Jesus Christ giving us our new person the Holy Spirit the person we do not know nor have we ever met before until we give ourselves to Him. He gives us His wisdom of truth within our souls daily, which gives us the direction to rest in Him with a heart of repentance of our flesh.  His gift of faith given to us so we can trust in Him and His ways. We have been given a heart for His instruction and His decision making and our minds are set on what that Spirit of Himself desires. This is the relationship we receive through the Spirit of God Himself living in us. We only find  His strength when we rest in Him. This minute, this hour or this day have you received the Spirit of God that gives you the heart to desire His instruction, His love, His peace that quiets your soul that guides you daily into always listening to Him? Has He proven to you that  by  your resting in Him in quietness of your soul by repenting the power of your flesh daily that His power is given to you and surpasses any strength you may have thought you had on your own. Has He given you the knowledge of knowing that the foolishness of Him is wiser than your wisdom, and the weakness of Him is stronger than your strength.
(1 Corinthians 1v20-31) Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God given to us when we repent of our flesh and it's  power daily, by the faith he gives us in Him and then we will continue to receive His strength daily. Read Isaiah 30 and 1 Corinthians 1. I love all of you with His wisdom and His strength given to me for you! Many prayers always Vicki Gann
