Good afternoon, grace and peace to God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Today another "church" relationship was put in front of me through me trying to help them with the youth in our community. Last Sunday I helped with great excitement and joy and was having a great time loving all people through the grace He had given me. We began our lesson and I was quietly as possible keeping the youth listening to our Lord and His message through this wonderful person he had chosen to do this task. The youth were listening and making comments. I began to listen as well to the person he was speaking through for the youth to hear.
She first began telling each youth about choices they make and how to make the right ones. She had several newspaper clippings that revealed several youths making bad choices with terrible consequences that would follow. One brought a gun to school, another killed his girlfriend and still another group of young girls wore revealing track uniforms that were banned.
The teacher began to tell them they should choose the right choice and when we are faced with a fork in the road, as these people were, left being wrong right being right, which way should we go? Of course most of them said they know right from wrong and would choose the right choice. So do we teach our children it is about making choices or receiving His grace? Is is about right doing or right receiving His faith and grace?
Titus 2v11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope-the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own eager to do what is good.
I began to hear God say to me, "Vicki, you know it is not about making choices, all people can choose the right choice if they know right from wrong and many do, it is about me making them for myself to be my own by my gift of grace that is within them that comes from me. They have to come to me to be able to live and make the choices I give them. Know one can go to Father except through me and what I give them.It is only through my gift of grace anyone can live and breath freely with self-controlled lives because you have received me. Why do they call me Lord, Lord and not do what I say? It is because they have not given me all of themselves to be in charge of."
I started to say a few words and tell them they can only be led through Christ to make the right choices because we do not get to Heaven by the choices and good we do only by His presence and grace in us do we receive salvation. I only said a little bit and then I was cut off by the teacher and her words. She followed up by saying through the Holy Spirit's help we can make the right choices if we look to Him to help us. Are we not suppose to know Him first and He teaches us all things about God, our LORD, Father and He delivers us from evil, because he is in charge of our lives?
I went home that night trying to tell God that I liked being in this youth group and I did not want to say anymore but he would not leave me alone. I told Him if He wanted me to talk to her he would have to lead her to me by her calling me and her bringing up me saying anything. I was expected to go to Wednesday night youth fellowship and if He wanted me to speak His words to her He would have to get her to call me before then. If he didn't want me to speak to her, she would not bring it up or call me, I would know to go and not speak anymore.
Wednesday at 1:00 pm she called. I answered the phone and she ask if I wanted to come tonight and fellowship with the youth I said of course I would love to, if she would accept my help. She said, "There is one thing I am concerned with, and it is when I ask the children something you should not say anything." I knew at that moment I had to speak for my Lord fearlessly with the words he gave me. It is by grace we are saved not by our own choices. She said she did not want to be controlled that way and God does not want to control us that way. I told her it was about "right believing" not right doing. She again told me that God wants us to make the right choices on our own, and I said if we could why did He have to die for us? She was offended I could tell and told me this would not be a good fit for me because I was telling her she was wrong and I was right. I told her I was not right but God was and again she got offend because she told me I was leading her to believe God was speaking to her and not me. We talked back and forth for about thirty minutes and we prayed for each other and left it in God's hands.
I beseech all who claim to teach by the calling of God to check yourselves and see who has control of your life. Many think he is the "co pilot" or the helping hand but He is the hand and the pilot and He takes us beyond our mind, our spirit and fulfills ourselves with Him in our mind and spirit and we let Him as His child knowing He knows best for us.
For me I knew what God was telling me again. To build my own church with His words, signs, wonders and His miracles He has given to me to share with the world. I know I am no one special an ordinary sinner with many sins in my life before I knew Him and His grace that changed my life and continues to change it daily. How and why would he heal all of my pain, suffering, and sickness and not heal all others that have Him and His faith, His love and His power living in them. We however do not know each others faith and each others personal relationship with God. I only know Him and what He has given me that is all I know. I do not have my own opinions any more only His and what He reveals to me for others.
Titus 3v3 At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit whom he poured out on generously through Jesus Christ our Savior so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
I will continue to pray for this person and all churches but will not attend another one until He leads me to another. I will keep spreading His truth of who He is and how He wants to heal everyone spirit, soul and body here on earth as it is in Heaven through His power and grace not from our own natural choices, but through His grace we can be lead to make the right choices. He lives in us so we can make the right choices whether we want his love to guard our hearts or not to lead us to control us is the only choice we make when his love touches our heart we can always deny his word of love. We want to be controlled by Him because He knows what is best for us.
Those who think they know themselves better than God knows them hopefully will soon learn their human nature is nothing compared to His glorious love and power He gives all people that receive His faith. I know our earthly bodies are going to decay someday and He will give us enough grace to defeat death and live with Him forever. His grace is sufficient enough for all people if they would only receive His faith they could receive His grace through receiving Him and be able to make all the right choices. I am what I am by the grace of God, it is not I but Christ who lives in me and through me so I can make the right choices by faith in Him healing my whole body, soul and spirit and the out come of my life will prove His power heals all in all people for His glory in His name!!!
