Who are we acting like a mature Christian or an infant?

Good morning, grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Have you ever walked into a dinner party, a family reunion, work place, a school, or a church and felt like they were speaking another langue than you speak?

You take a shower, get dressed and are very excited to see what God has in store through out your day, or evening. Then you get to your destination and you feel like you are some alien living on another planet? The people that are around you speak another language than you do. When they are suffering they act as though they have no Savior. They talk as if the curse of the fallen man is still apart of us.

Have you ever walked in your work place and spoken to another "Christian" that has a deep depression that has taken over her mind and speaks as if she has lost all hope?  Have you ever had a "Christian" friend that worries all the time, and another that cares so much about what people think of her it leaves her seeking approval of others all the time? Have you ever spoken to another "Christian" friend that does not understand how her son can marry someone that is so overweight?  Have you ever been to a dinner party where your "Christian" friends are discussing their lavish vacations, and where they are going next year without any comment  of our Lord giving them resources to go, and if He is willing they want to go next year? Have you ever been to a family reunion where your "Christian" cousins are sneaking off to smoke and drink, and they get mad at you because you do not want to go? Have you ever been to work when a "Christian" friend is being very nice to you, and then you over hear by accident the reason they are being nice to you is becasue they want to be invited to stay at your lake house? Have you ever been to a church dinner and saw someone new sitting by their self and ask your "Christian" friend if she wants to go with you to sit by them, and she says, "No she has tattoos, or he has long hair." Have you ever asked a "Christian" friend to help you with another "Christian" friend that needs help, but they can't because of something less meaningful as come up than helping that friend that has a greater need? Have you ever witnessed your "Christian" friends talk hurtful and mean on several occasions to their children and when you go to their house you are shocked to see how they take care of all what God has given them? Have you ever witnessed many times a "Christian" dating couple, or married couple treat each other terribly and go on as if nothing needs to change. Have you ever seen a "Christian" friend smoke or have any addiction and speak and act as if it is apart of who they are? Have you ever had a "Christian" boss who acts as if  you are their to serve him or her, and holds his or her position over you, as if he or she was more important in the world than you are.

Are you beginning to feel like an stranger among those that are not suppose to be strangers? Why is it that so many Christians do not think the same today, and the number is growing in the wrong direction? Where are the mature Christians that are leading His churches today? God tells us through Paul only the mature in Christ have His wisdom. This is why those of us that are mature need to be leading our churches, work places, schools and families so He can bring others to maturity in our families, churches, schools, and work places. We should never feel like strangers among ourselves. Where are His workers that are being lead by our Creator? Where are those leaders that are being led by His grace, love and wisdom keeping them growing in His Holy direction?

1 Corinthians 2:6
We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.

Many "Christians" are walking around as if they have no Holy Spirit teaching them the ways of God. Where are His reborn children that have been and will continue to be fully taught by Him. Where are those that he works through, that repent, and belong to Him? Where are those that know what He has freely give them of Himself? We are speaking and acting today as if we have not been touched and changed by His grace but say with our mouths we are  "Christians". Where are those that know how big He is because they and their huge problems have become so small?

1 Corinthians 2:12
We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us!

This does not mean a chosen few people, this means he offers all of us His wisdom. He teaches us all things, even the deep things of God. But there will only be a few if we do not give ourselves to Him through the faith and love he provides.

If we do not have the Spirit of God in us we will not be thinking, talking, or acting as if he was thinking, talking and acting through us. We will sound and act much like the world and the unbelievers. They do not accept Him and His way of thinking.

v14 The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Once I lived with no care for my soul, in which way I was going, thinking, speaking  and acting.  I was going the only direction my own folly took me. The wisdom of God sounded very foolish to me when I heard it, most times my ears were blocked by my own folly.  I spoke the way I wanted to speak, thinking and acting much like the rebellious of the world. I felt very comfortable with many going the way I was going. I was living a life of folly and wanted too. Then there are those that are morally good and hold their goodness above everyone else, their good at being good, which still is not God's goodness and still makes them a sinner, no more or no less than I was. We are all born of dust and only through Jesus Christ can we be washed from that dust we all were born from and live forever.

Today I am a reborn child of God, a true mature healthy Christian.   I have been washed and cleansed and will continue to be washed and cleansed living a blameless life being lead by my Savior through His life giving Spirit until my body dies and my spirit and soul live with Him forever. I think, speak and act differently than the world but am seeking and longing for more that think, speak and act like me. Today if you see yourself not thinking like our Savior repent as I do and He will regain your wisdom back to His way of thinking and keep your mind set on Him if you let His love, peace and wisdom always guide your heart. You will find as long as you stay close to Him your thinking, speaking and acting will be more of His and less of yours. His love will let your heart know always, and His love never will fail you in being His mature child.
