Good morning to all, grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
As I live through His Spirit everyday by denying myself and living in total faith in him giving me all my emotional, physical and intellectual needs he has revealed something that the world is not learning from his children today as they should be. What did we learn from true Christians when we were part of the world, and what should the world now be learning from us if we are truly Christians?
John 14:30 I will not speak to you much longer, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold on me, but the world must learn that I love the Father and that I do exactly what my Father has commanded me.
When I read his words, God, our Father in Heaven reveals so many things I do not see, and hear manifesting in most Christians today.
First of all, we learn from Jesus that the devil, "the prince of this world", had, and has today still, no hold on him. Our Lord Jesus Christ knew Satan had no hold on him all of his life by him being God's First Holy Son that came from God, and he used his own word to rebuke him. He was the Word, and he was with God in the beginning. The only perfect and Holy human because he is the only human that came from God.
That means the sinful nature in us, or the original sin in the world from the fall of man has no power over our bodies, soul or spirit now through faith in Christ giving us all we need spiritually, intellectually, physically, and emotionally as a result of his blood sacrifice for us on the cross. Our faith comes by the Spirit of Him through the message of who he is, and why he died for us. God draws us from his power, and love using the message of the cross. Faith comes to us from Christ through the message.
Romans 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
v21 But concerning Israel he says, "All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.
Immediately through faith in full surrender to Him, the redemptive power of God through Christ's blood is filling up our spirit, souls, and body each day as we continually surrender ourselves to him. Some people are more stubborn, and stiff necked than others in accepting his Lordship over them, and accepting his words of faith. Many today are as disobedient, and obstinate as the Israelites when it comes to his purpose and his plan. The same power that raised him from the dead is living inside of us if we fully surrender to him. Our bodies are made of dust, and our bodies were made to return to dust. This was part of our Father's plan that many have not received to this date. We are spiritual human beings with bodies that were made to die, but our spirit and souls were made to live forever through faith in Jesus Christ. This has always been God's plan and purpose. Our Father predestined us to have faith in Christ, His First Holy Son, to live with him forever, but all other souls that do not believe in Him will live in hell where they will live in torment for eternity. There is a division of believers, and unbelievers in the world, and he died to draw all men to believe in who he is, and his redeeming power to make them true, holy, pure, and whole. Our souls can be renewed by faith, and be made holy, and pure by his redemptive work in us, and we can live forever with our Father's amazing love for us through His Son that was planned before the creation of the world. SATAN HAS NO POWER OVER US!! WE HAVE VICTORY OVER SIN, AND DEATH SPIRITUALLY THROUGH CHRIST!!
His presence in us through his Spirit we receive by faith, will continue to give us faith that keeps us firm and his grace has no limit that keeps us saying no to all ungodliness. His grace (acceptance and favor) will continually keep us saying no to all ungodliness through each circumstance, and relationship we all face each day if we are truly listening to him in faith and remaining in his love.
Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "NO" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope- the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
Ephesians 1:4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sin, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.
Not only do we learn from the words written by God through John about what Jesus said about Satan, and the falling world not having any power over him and us because of Christ, and what he did for us on the cross. We also learn that Jesus loved his Father more than anything else, and he proved his love for His Father by doing all his Father said for him to do. The Heavenly Father gave Christ his unfailing love, power and gifts for Christ to accomplish all he needed and he gives us the same spiritual gifts as he gave Christ. We have his love, wisdom, all his spiritual gifts, and power that our Father has lavished on us! This many do not receive within themselves today because of ignorance in not knowing what they have been given, or they are being taught something in error by someone that has not been given his full understanding. Of course if we have not fully surrendered all we will not have the full understanding of all he has given us. Many will twist, turn and add words, and not receive his truth. This often will limit his power when a person only thinks they get a part of Christ, one gift, when one can have the fullness of Christ with all his spiritual gifts and blessings.
Ephesians 4:12 to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the WHOLE MEASURE OF THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST.
Not many humans today want to be told what to do by anyone, much less by a Spiritual Holy God they cannot see. For many this makes him to be a fantasy god, and not real. Others think they know him but by the outcome of their lives his presence is proven not to live in them. The Son of Man was able to do "exactly what his Father commanded him too do" because he was the First Son of God that came from God himself. He was the First son that was pure, holy and true that came from God, because he was God himself. This too will be who we are through our faith in him giving us all things we need of himself. Through his Spirit we as his daughters and his sons will know our Father's love for us in a new way, and our love for him in a new way. Only those who have true faith in His Son can know the true Heavenly Father and his love.
John 6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets:They will all be taught by God. Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me. (Jesus) No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father. I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life. I am the bread of life.
The Holy Spirit's same thinking will be manifesting in us through faith as we surrender ourselves to his will everyday. Our thoughts and words should be his thoughts and words"The world must learn that I love the Father and that I do exactly what my Father has commanded me to do." Many people today think we "copy" these words but truly through His Spirit we become these words. Through His Spirit, His words in the Bible will begin to live in us, and penetrate deeper than any other presence can reach.
Is the world learning from us that we love the Father as Jesus loved the Father? Or is the world, and his church learning today that most "Christians" love themselves, their possessions, their work, and one another more than the Father? Faith in the Father is faith from the Son that wipes out everything in us that does not belong to him, and this is the faith that the Bible is proclaiming. This is the life of faith the Spirit of the Son puts in us, we know through him our flesh and anything that comes from it counts for nothing.
John 7:63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are Spirit and they are life. Yet there are some of you who do not believe. For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him.
Today we need to take a look at our minds, and check our thoughts, motives, and desires. Are we speaking as if we have faith in Him renewing all of our thinking, speaking, and living by the out come of our lives? Are we showing the world that we love our Father by doing all that he says? Are we glorifying his power working in and through us and not our own? Is he purifying our souls, changing our thinking to be more like his, or are we staying the same? Are we rejoicing in the Lord, and are we speaking what is true? Are we noticing people are praising us more than praising God? Are we seeking more praise from people more than praise from God? Are we receiving grace and God's favor? Do we know what the Holy Spirit has freely given us because we truly do believe? Is our faith in him increasing, and is it being proved to be genuine? Are we being healed spiritually, emotionally, and physically through our circumstances? Are we noticing more people are being drawn to us, instead of being drawn more to the Father? Are we noticing people are changing more within, and people around us are loving our Father more? Are we noticing his hand in all of our circumstances? Is he truly making a difference in and through us, or are we making a difference, and saying he is the difference? Are we praising him with our mouths, and not with our renewed minds and hearts?
