2 Timothy 11:13 Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we also will live with him; if we endure we will also reign with him; If we disown him,he will disown us; if we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself. What makes God weep? What is the worst tragedy according to
God? The most tragic circumstance according to God is people
disowning, or denying Him and what He did through Jesus from birth to resurrection.
It is not us dying, not our sickness,
not our betrayal or hatred of one another. It is not our sexual immorality or
any other sin, and not our choices. All those things are going to happen, and
they happen to everyone. What makes God weep more than anything else? It is us ignoring Him, and his act of love saving us from SIN
on the Cross. That is the greatest love ever given to human kind, and shared
through Him for human kind. He has called the world from the cross and many are
ignoring his message through his birth, life, crucifixion, and resurrection,
and when tragedy strikes we turn more away from him today than ever before. God says if deny or disown Him He will deny or disown us.
What many are doing in the world today must really cause him to weep as He
looks upon his creation, much like Jesus when He approached Jerusalem as they
were praising Him as a human savior, and hours later they were praising one
another and denying Him as God the only Savior. Of course they did not
recognize his invitation then to God through the cross, but today we have no
excuse left in denying or disowning His blood, that cleanses us from all
ungodliness by His gift of grace and faith. Luke 20:41 As he approached
Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it and said, “If you, even you, had
only known on this day what would bring you peace-but now it is hidden from
your eyes. The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment
against you, and encircle you and him you in on every side. They will dash you
to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one
stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s
coming to you. Many today are turning to one another, ignoring their sin,
and not desiring to live Holy lives through the cross. His love cleansed people of sin, healed their
bodies spiritually, emotionally, and physically. He changed their spirit with
His indwelling Spirit. They all could see His truth, and His righteousness. Many people are hating hatred today, and prejudices against
one another. They do good works, which is a form of godliness. At the same time
they are ignoring or denying God the Father and the Son through the Power He
gives people through the Holy Spirit by way of the cross that cleanses them from
all sin and ungodliness. Many are being deceived. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 But
mark this: There will be terrible times the last days. People will be
lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to
their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous,
without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited,
lovers of pleasure, rather than lovers of God-have a form of godliness but denying
its power. Have nothing to do with them. Today we need to change the world through these tragic times,
and Jesus is weeping as He did in Jerusalem because when we go through a tragic
hardship we are not truly turning to Him as our Lord and Savior. We are not
seeking His righteousness that gives our body life and holiness. Many are
continuing to turn away from Him by being lovers of themselves, doing their
good works, and remaining in sin. Today if you are going through a tragic time turn to Jesus, listen
to His truth through the message of the gospel, then speak His truth through
His Spirit and walk His life by giving your life to the Father. Let the Spirit
of God through the Son change you for His glory for ever and ever. Let Him give you His peace by answering His invitation
to God from the cross today!! That is the only true way you can be delivered perfectly
in these tragic times today is by way of the cross that will last for eternity!
Do not let God continue to weep because you are denying or ignoring Him and His
love He has for us only through His Son. His peace and love always |
