What is the difference between a "fault finder" and a true Christian?

Good day to all, grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Many people get deceived, and confused today with the "fault" finder message and the fault saving message.

First let us prove through His Word as Christians, a true child of the most High God, we are supposed to help restore other Christians with their relationship with our Father when they are at fault, and other Christians are supposed to help restore our relationship with the Father when they see our faults. This is how we, through the Spirit of God, keep us rightly related to Him.

There are many scriptures in the Old Testament that reveal those who are righteous are supposed to restore the unrighteous, and God tells us if they don’t, when they know the unrighteous and their wicked ways, and then not only are the unrighteous at fault the righteous are too.

Ezekiel 3:16-19 At the end of seven days the world of the LORD came to me. “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel: so here the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to a wicked man, “you will surely die, and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die in his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself.

He repeats it when the righteous turns from his righteousness, in verses 20-21.
Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before him, he will die. Since you did not warn him, he will die for his sin. The righteous things he did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the righteous man not to sin, he will surely live because he took warning, and you will have saved yourself.

Ezekiel was called by God, and was God’s prophet.  God told him his purpose, and what he was supposed to do. Did God tell Ezekiel to go find fault in others, or did God tell Him only by God’s call He has made Him a watchman for the house of Israel, and to listen to the words he speaks to warn the house of Israel.  It is God revealing to Ezekiel, God’s prophet, the wickedness of the unrighteous man. Ezekiel does not walk around pointing his finger at every one telling them their faults, it is God revealing and opening up God’s understanding to Ezekiel the wickedness in others for his purpose.

What does this have to do with Jesus, and with Christianity in the past ages through Acts, as well as today building up His Kingdom? Jesus tells us this in parables as well as speaks to us through plain words for the building up of His Kingdom the true universal church of his children that must bear his fruit of righteousness .Jesus uses the vine and the branches in the New Testament to demonstrate these words of God in the Old Testament.

John 15:1-8
I am the true vein, (Holy Spirit) and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, (false witness, sin, deception, and lies) while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes (cleans with his truth) so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. (The Holy Spirit) I am the vine; you are the branches. (Man and woman that grow out of the Holy Spirit are his children) If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; (restoring the unrighteous, or righteous) apart from me you can do nothing. (You cannot restore anyone without remaining in the “vine” the Holy Spirit)  If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; (living through the flesh) such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. (Unsaved souls) If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father’s glory that you bear much fruit, (restoring the unrighteous, and the righteous) showing yourselves to be my disciples. (Saved souls)

This is a parable that shows the meaning of Ezekiel, no one can restore any soul unless God saves them or cleans them first, as God did through Ezekiel he now does for all people he calls to the Cross, so He can restore others through Christ and His amazing grace.

We also read through the parable the branches must remain in the Vine or they can’t bear fruit, and Ezekiel could only save through the words and Spirit God gave him, and we can only save through the Words of God through His Spirit God gives us through His Son. No different purpose but finally revealed through God’s most perfect plan, through Jesus the truth, way and life since His resurrection.

Jesus also tells us plainly throughout his own words in many ways we who have faith in Him by the gift of His presence will be doing as He did. (John 14:12)  He clearly tried to restore people’s wrong reading of the scripture, wrong thinking, wrong actions, sin, and lack of faith. That was the reason he came to destroy the devils work, and through Him, we will also as His Holy Spirit leads us. He also tells us plainly word for word.

Matthew 18:15 Moreover if they brother sins against you, (some manuscripts do not have against you) go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses. ( Deut. 19:15) If he refuses to listen to him, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or tax collector.

During this message Jesus was talking to his disciples (brothers) not the whole crowd, I am sure not all unbelievers are going to understand this process, but at the same time some unbelievers want to improve their moral character and will take correction when needed to improve their moral character themselves from someone wanting to help them. The message here is to stay close to the Vine, the Holy Spirit as one of its branches bearing His fruit of righteousness for the building up of the church, not bearing fruit for our own righteousness. This message is for the building up of His church among brothers and sisters in Christ, but notice at the end if they don’t listen to the church, the church is to treat them as an unbeliever. How did Jesus treat unbelievers? He warned them, got angry at times with the “religious” Pharisee’s for their lack of faith, prayed for them, walked away from them because their lack of faith, and wept for them, but he never accepted their sin or evil ways.

We can clearly see we are supposed to , through the power of God by His Spirit, reveal others their faults as he discloses them for their own relationship with God to be restored, and for our own relationship with God we must be obedient to his voice. What is the difference between “a fault finder, and a Christian?

Jude 16  These men are grumblers and “fault finders” they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage. But, dear friends remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires. These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.

We do have natural instincts that are very deceiving and will make a lot of people “feel” good about themselves, but hey will not be living by the true word of God or on his path he has planned out for them. They will be praising others, themselves and not be giving Him glory and praise. They will be looking to glorify themselves by “looking” for faults in others, and grumbling to others trying to divide you for their own purposes. These people will flatter others, and boast about themselves in many ways. They may have love of others, love of life but no true love of God is present.

When we are in Christ the faults of ourselves, and other people are revealed to us through the light of His Spirit. If we are living in a deception sometimes we are unaware of the deception and He will send others through His Spirit to help us, and restore us rightly related to Him and His path and plan. Those who are in Christ will not oppose this intervention of truth, because they are seeking his truth always.

Luke 8:16-18 No one lights a lamp and hides it under a jar or puts in under a bed. Instead he puts it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open. Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him.

God speaks to us through the light of the Holy Spirit and through his word, and actions. His light will always shine and will expose all truth where ever he leads, all will be exposed through His light, and some will embrace his light, and some will reject it.

2Timothy  3:6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. Just has Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth-men of depraved minds, who far as the faith is concerned, are rejected.

A fault finder worms their way into homes, work places, churches, and among weak willed woman who are loaded down with sin and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, they always want to learn but never acknowledge His truth.

This proves through His words that His Spirit of truth reveals the difference between a “fault finder” and a Christian. Which one are we proved to be?  If we are proven to be a true child of God by we will be bearing His fruit of righteousness and light of truth, we live by the true word of God, and His presence in us is our main witness.  Than praise God we are not a “fault finder” but a child of God restoring his children as they restore us for the building up of His Kingdom.

If you do find yourself being a “fault finder” because you like to elevate your righteousness for the building up of yourself and others then repent, turn to Jesus with a willing heart to change for Him at the Cross of truth! Today can be the first day of your true life being part of His Vine, and bearing His fruit that will last for eternity!!

The main thing in life is love because it teaches the basic principles of a happy life. God loves those who love themselves because love makes a person sober in a society and the lover never hate others. We should know about the real love.
