Good day to all, joy, and strength from our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Today may be a day you are grieving about your daily struggles in life that seem to be tearing down your wall of protection. The Jews experienced grief when they had to rebuild their wall that had been destroyed around Jerusalem. They were letting their grief overtake them, and they thought they did not have the strength to rebuild the walls that had been destroyed.
With the everyday process of work, everyday boredom, struggles from persecution, threats of sickness, being a caregiver of someone that is sick, struggles of raising children, struggles of keeping our relationships where they need to be, temptations of sin, struggles with decisions in keeping ourselves right with God our wall of protection may seem to be irreparable. Satan will tell you, you can't, God tells you you can!
Nehemiah was a prophet God sent to the Jews to give them encouragement in rebuilding their walls around the city of Jerusalem that had been destroyed by the Babylonians because of the Jews lack of faith in God. To make it short, but worth the longer read, through the Holy Spirit Nehemiah warned God’s people about ignoring God, told the Jews who their merciful God truly was, but they must quit being stiff necked and stubborn, and only obey Him as their One true God. Then He told them God would save them and give them courage to rebuild the walls if they would continue to listen to Him their walls would be as strong as their love and faith was in Him.
Today we as Christians are God’s chosen prophets, and the Holy Spirit through Christ warns all of us within, and He warns others through us as Nehemiah did about being stubborn and stiff necked toward God. We warn each other through the Spirit of God for the building up of His Kingdom. We help each other build God’s wall around us in creating His kingdom, as all the Jews helped build their wall around Jerusalem.
Our walls are built for the same reasons, they keep evil spirits of the enemy away, temptations away, the lies of Satan away, and the weight of our daily cares and struggles in life from weighing us down. Our walls are built from the Holy Spirit of God and no one can penetrate or tear them down no matter how hard life, death, sickness, work, relationships, and circumstances try to tear our walls down we can rebuild them, or keep them strong through Christ. We stand in Him, and His truth of who we are through all He gives us of Himself! If God is for us, who and what can tear us down?
If you ever feel like the everyday struggles of life within, and around you is destroying your walls of protection then remember you have a Lord that gives you strength to overcome and rebuild your walls and keep them straight, and strong by His Spirit of truth. Through His endless joy that completes us, his saved children, we will always have His strength to rebuild any time we are grieving.
Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
John 16:23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.
Today if we are asking in the name of Jesus through the Spirit of Christ that is in us, whatever we ask will be given. Ask and we will receive, and our joy will be complete. This means whatever we are going through in Christ, and if Christ is in us, whatever we ask our Father He will give us exactly what we need. Those words give us unexplained strength, joy, and peace!
If you are not asking in the name of Jesus through His Spirit the outcome will not be the same. Go to the Cross now, give your life wholeheartedly to God body, soul, and spirit. Confess your sins, repent, and receive the Spirit of God and your rebirth, and ask and it will be given. What He gives you is limitless through all your struggles in life, he will never leave you, nor will he quit helping you build your wall.
Your wall of protection can begin rebuilding itself, and will remain strong and steadfast until he calls you home as long as you remain in His faith and His love your walls will be as strong as your faith and love for Him are, and your strength will always come from His joy!!
His joy, and strength always!
