Have you been "Thunder Struck" by God's Word?

Have you been “Thunder Struck “by God’s word?

Jesus gave the name Boanerges to John and James the sons of Zebedee. This name means Sons of Thunder. For me it happened that way, I, like them became a daughter that had been struck by my Father’s Thunder, as if I was “Thunder Struck.”

Mark 3:17 James son of Zebedde and his brother John (to them he gave the name Boanerges, which means Sons of Thunder);

Our will to surrender, as John and James will to surrender, came and comes today by the Holy Spirit of Jesus giving us His faith in the Father, and His mercy and forgiveness for our sins by way of the Cross that washes over us transforming our spirit, body and soul as if we have been “Thunder Struck” by God as they were, willing to give Him All of themselves, we are too. What He gives us in mercy compels us to surrender all of who we are that is not Him daily, and when we do the fullness of Christ is given to us, and we become Daughters and Sons of Thunder as He spoke through John and James He speaks through us the same way. His mercy and forgiveness is like being thunder struck by God. His words are like thunder in our hearts, powerful and majestic, and they come through us to others the same way.

Psalm 29:3 The voice of the LORD is over the water; the God of glory thunders, the LORD thunders over the mighty waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic.

Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God- this is your spiritual act of worship.

Our act of worship toward God is giving ourselves to Him every day, and His mercy given to us is what compels us to give our bodies as sacrifices. If a person has not experienced God’s mercy which is his forgiveness of sins given to them through the Cross they will not be compelled to surrender their bodies as an act of worship to please God. Most of us worship God through service, traditions given by men, and through worshiping others. The only worship God wants is offering ourselves to Him in faith as sacrifices, in view of the mercy and forgiveness each of us have received by Him from the Cross, and the rest will come through us by His presence.

Today if you hear his voice do not harden your hearts toward Him and be disobedient going your way, or following others that are not following Him. If you have not experienced God’s voice living and active in you, through his word penetrating your soul like thunder dividing your soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and judging the thoughts and attitudes of your heart then you need to go to Him and ask Him to reveal His word to you this way.

Ask for his forgiveness in view of His mercy because you have been ignoring His Word as the truth of who He is; if you have. Ask Him to forgive you in view of His mercy for following others that truly have not been following Him; if you have. Ask Him in view of His mercy to forgive you for putting others, or service before giving yourself wholly to Him; if you have. He will uncover and lay bare the truth about you through His presence so you can give a correct account of yourself to Him. He will reveal the truth to you through His Word of truth, that penetrates like thunder. Listen and obey his truth that He reveals and you can begin to be a Daughter or Son of Thunder penetrating the world through His word with His power and grace!

Hebrews 4:7 Therefore God again set a certain day, calling it Today, when a long time later he spoke through David, as was said before: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

His thunderous peace and love always!

In the world of hardships the only way to be a healthy man of the society is to move towards God before it's too late and this allows everyone to feel bad for what he had done in his life and feel guilty of that and return to the Lord.
