ARE WE WILLING TO DIE TO LIVE?
John 12:24-26 I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. The man who loves his life will lost it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, my servant will also be. My Father will honor the one who servers me.
Jesus died so He could plant many seeds of Himself. Every human being is like a seed growing from the ground and has been planted by someone, who is planting you?
We do not serve Him by us doing things for Him, but we serve Him by surrendering in total faith Spiritually crucifying ourselves for His sake. THEN, He will give us what we need through His Spirit for Him to be able to work in us every day as we crucify ourselves each day. His abundant grace and mercy lifts us past ourselves daily, so we are able to draw others to Him.
Today we live in a "selfie world" and many are glorifying themselves and their work in helping others. We have to be willing to lose ourselves, so His eternal life may live in and through us planting many seeds of Himself, not seeds of ourselves, but seeds that draw people to Him.
