Death has no sting for a true Christian

Death Has No Sting for a True Christian

It has been five days of living life to the fullest during life’s changing circumstances. My mother in-law of thirty-one years passed through the gates of Heaven last Friday around 1:00 p.m. and her empty body was buried yesterday around 4 p.m.

She had been suffering for eight years with Alzheimer’s and her family and many others have been praying for eight years for our Heavenly Father to end her suffering any way He chooses. We know all things are possible through His power and grace, when and where we do not know, but we never give up!

Her devoted husband took care of her every day for those eight years while some family members worked hard and visited them, some could visit more than others, and some could not visit at all due to their own circumstances, but they all prayed. Please pray for her husband he will be the one who must adapt into his new life the most. Eight years of caring for her in their home until she passed through the gates of Heaven is many days on earth to take care of a loved one. It will be an adjustment for Him, but those who truly know our Heavenly Father know they can do all things through Him who gives them strength.

For some of the family members our last prayer together before she passed through the gates of Heaven was Friday morning at sun up. After most of us slept in chairs or on the hard floor waiting for her soul and spirit to be taken up by the angles of light and other heavenly human spirits that have gone before her.

A few minutes after our prayer a few of us went outside to welcome the new day and up above the house in the blue sky was a double rainbow. No rain clouds in sight, nor had it rained the night before. There above was only the sun shining on this double rainbow over the house we were in, telling us through its brilliance to remain faithful, patient, and to remind us He is in control and He hears. A rainbow is one of His signs to let us know He keeps His promises. When and where they unfold we do not know.

By the early afternoon her soul and spirit were taken by the angles of light out of the gates from this earth into the gates of Heaven to meet our Lord and Father in person and face to face! She is also meeting with all the spirits of the singing angles and those other Holy Spirit touched human spirits that had gone before her. She is seeing a place so beautiful she could never understand in her human body. Heaven is too bright and beautiful for our human eyes and body to withstand and understand.

She is completely healed, and all her suffering is no more, she has no worries, sorrows, or struggling concerns. She will never have any tears of sadness from suffering ever again for eternity. From her passing to everlasting all her suffering is gone! There is no end of time where she is! Where she is by far is greater than anyone or anything on this earth! Let us rejoice in thinking of her and what she has gained and not ourselves and what we are missing. We can always ask Him for help in turning our grief to joy, and He will always help us and give us all we need to overcome any heartbreak! He never will leave us or forsake us; let us not leave or forsake Him.

Thank you, Father, for always showing us your Heavenly miracles, signs, and wonders we cannot explain, and thank you for giving us the mind, eyes and heart to see them through your indwelling Spirit your word proclaims!

Who are we truly listening to and following?

Are we truly listening and following Jesus as our Father told us too?
Yesterday I invited to close friends and sisters in Christ over for breakfast to discuss our lives, and what God was teaching us through our lives. We all experienced different paths to Him, and now we are trying to stay on His narrow path, but we may be at different places with our relationship with Him.
As our conversations about our lives began through a Bible study, how, and who each of us listen to became my focus, and hopefully it was to the others. This I think is why many of his children do not grow, and mature as He wants them too. Some of us think we are listening, and following Jesus but truly are we?
While we were discussing our lives one of my friends said, “We have to be careful to listen to God, not Satan, the world, and even ourselves, because God knows our hearts more than we do.” I quickly realized each of us were following who we listen too, and all three of our lives were proving it.
Matthew 17:5 While he (Peter) was still speaking, (to Jesus), a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love, with him I am well pleased, Listen to him!”
These words are proven within ourselves, and through the lives we live. Our lives should also show who we are following. We know this within ourselves by the Spirit of God revealing our hearts to us and also revealing the hearts of others we ourselves can’t see, or go as deep into ourselves, or the hearts of others as He can. We know only by Him do we know God’s love for us, only God is pleased with Him, and that is why we listen only to Him, and live in, and through Him.  This is why He died for us, He is the only one that could have forgiven our sins, can reveal our sinful nature, save it by His blood, and redeem us into His Holy image to be one with God as He was, and still is in and through us by His gift of His Spirit!
Luke 8:17 For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.  Therefore consider carefully how you listen.  Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have even what he thinks he has will be taken away.
Sometimes we think we are listening to Him and following Him but truly are we? Some listen but do the follow Him, His words and life through His Spirit?  As I have written many times in my blog the church as a whole today truly does not reflect God’s first children that were ripened into his image through His Spirit.  When did his children as a whole quit listening and following only Him? Who did they let cut in and take them away from who they first was listening too? First let us hear what He says through His words to us before we determine if the church as a whole truly listens to Him.
First He says what we say is not our own words, they are the Fathers because He is living in us as He did in Jesus through the same Spirit. If you know Jesus and the Spirit of God you will know the difference in your speech, and thinking. He truly does renew our mind as we surrender our will to Him willingly. That is the relationship He wants with all of His children so He can work in and through all of His children as He did in and through His first Son.
Our thoughts change, and who we follow, and belong too changes because we have surrendered our soul (mind) , body and spirit to Him at the Cross and He gives Himself to us because we have surrendered all to Him from what He has given first. We will clearly know these are not our words but the Father’s words speaking through us. If His love and faith prove His presence working in, and through our own lives as the Fathers love and faith was working in and through the life of Jesus we will be doing as He did. The Father will be living in and through us the same way as He did through His Son. As He was sent we too will be sent.

Clearly those who have eyes can see the disciples in the New Testament were doing as He did, through the Father's work because of the faith and love they had in the Father was in them and pouring out for others as it was in Jesus pouring out and growing. I know through my own life when I have truly listened to His Spirit and followed His Spirit for His sake, His faith in me increases, my power he gives increases, His gifts increase, my freedom increases, my holiness increases, and my love for Him increases.
John 14:10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather it is the Father living in me who is doing his work.
He also tells us not only by faith and love will the evidence be made known of His presence in us, but by miracles signs, and wonders no one can explain, and clearly again not many are experiencing this life of His miracles, signs, and wonders as they did then. This again in my own life as been proven. There has been many signs, miracles and wonders no one can explain given for His purpose for the building up of His Kingdom.
John 14:11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves. If tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing.
Clearly today the church or the bride of Christ, does not resemble the first bride of Christ in the New Testament. As a whole some have clearly changed their clothes, and maybe where you live you see the clothes has changed from the New Testament to what it is today as well. We who know the correct wedding clothes the bride is supposed to be wearing do tell others so they can change into the right clothes. None of us should want to go to the wedding banquet of God wearing the wrong clothes, or just have one sleeve reflecting the wedding clothes He wants us to wear.
Matthew 22:1 Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son.
Matthew 22: 11-14 “But when the king came in to see the guest, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. ‘Friend’, he asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ The man was speechless. Then the kind told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and through him outside into the darkness where there will be weeping and gashing of teeth.’ For many are invited but few are chosen.
This tells me only a few truly follow, and listen to the groom! I think this is the main problem when it comes to God’s children today we truly do not follow Him or listen to Him, and when we stopped I do not know but I know we can repent, and change our clothes. The beliefs we follow can be what He says we are to follow, and keep man and the world out of it. We do not want to add any other beliefs, and traditions other than what is written in His word we are to follow.
I challenge myself to listen to Him more, and to only follow Him and His life more. No longer am I going to listen to any other voice, or any other doctrine except His true word, and if it is not proven in his life, His prophets lives, His disciple’s lives,  what the first church proclaimed in the New Testament is the church I want to follow. I am not going to follow man, or the world in what they want to follow no matter what others say or do. I only will listen to my Father's voice through the Spirit his word proclaims.
Our Father tells Timothy and us through Paul in the last days, which started the minute Jesus rose from the dead, there will be people not going by God’s word or truly following it, they will add to it, twist it, and only hear what their itching ears want to hear. Today we are further away from His word than we have ever been before, but we can reunite, repent and begin a new era of truly following, and listening to Him!!!Who will follow me only following Him, His Word through His One and Only Spirit?
2 Timothy 4:3 for the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship do the work of an evangelist, and discharge all the duties of your ministry.
If you find yourself listening to other beliefs other than what His Word and His Spirit clearly proclaims for us to follow you can today this moment go to the Cross repent with a sincere heart. Ask God to forgive you for following other beliefs, and other words other than what His Son proclaimed because you ignored Him telling you to listen to only Him through your Word and Spirit. Tell Him you know Jesus is the alpha and the mega of your life and you want to begin truly listening, and following Him to know who He truly is. If you are sincere he will forgive you instantly with his peace and grace and you can begin listening only  to Him, and following only Him, or begin again truly listening to Him, and following Him.

We may have to give up a lot to only listen and follow Him, but what we gain of Him will be worth amazingly more than anything that we have lost. Then we all can truly begin doing what He did!! It is time!! Whose with me?

What or whom are you putting your hope in?

What or whom are you putting your hope in?

Many today in the world and among God’s true children through Christ use the word hope. There are many methods of what and who our hope can be in today. Ourselves, others, and pleasures of this world. There were many voices in my own life I heard to put my hope in when I began searching for my completeness.
The word hope means confident expectation. Let us use the words confident expectation in the place of hope and check its meaning. I have a confident expectation that I, this person or thing will fulfill my completeness. Now let us use the word hope in their place. I have hope in myself, this person or thing will fulfill my completeness.
I went searching and the first thing I did was to put my hope or confident expectation of finding myself was in a person, and other people. I thought a person loving me all my life would truly complete me, after all God made man and woman to live together, and love one another through a family.  I watched many movies, and read many books that matched my method of putting ones hope of finding their completeness, and love through people.  “Jerry Maguire” is a great example when he told his wife, “You complete me,” and I too, like Jerry, felt a person or people could do the same for me.
First it was my parents, teachers, coaches, boyfriends, husbands, then bosses, and then children.  Often I read a few books and watched many movies that claimed their families, friends, bosses, coaches, and children completed their search and was the purpose to fulfill their confident expectations of themselves or their hope for existence. That was easy because I loved spending time with them, loved helping them, and loved learning about them more than anything else so that method was very easy for me, especially when it came to my children. This did not last very long, because it put too much pressure on all of them when they wanted to be free, and not the reason for fulfilling my own expectation or confidence in myself.
They had their own journey in finding what to put their hope in, and I thinking it was them caused both of us many heart aches and lessons we did not need to go through. I want them in my life but I do not need them to define my completeness. It is amazing how many others in the world, and among God’s true children through Christ were, and are putting their hope in this same method. First I thought as many around me thought, this must be the way.
Then I began putting my hope in helping others as the way to finding my completeness. It worked for a short time, but still the whole was there, and this method only lasted as long as I was helping someone else. I began feeling like a hamster on a wheel doing good works but no change within my self was taking place, so I did more and more good works trying my best to fulfill this whole, and covered up my insecurities with humor. I was very busy, had many admirers, and I was fun to be around, but inside I was still searching. No one noticed because the good I was doing covered up my insecurities within myself. I learned to hide myself really well. Again it is amazing how many others too were putting, and still are putting their hope in this method in finding their completeness, in the world, and also among God’s true children in Christ.  I thought at the time this must be the way.
Then I put my hope in pleasures of this world. If I only had enough money to buy my children all they needed, a house that fulfilled all I wanted, and what my family wanted for themselves. A porch, a big yard, a large bath tub, enough bedrooms, bathrooms, and a good neighborhood with good schools. Then I would be complete. If I only had a house, and when I got that house I wanted a vacation home.  A house on the beach, a place on a lake, or a house in the mountains then I would be complete. I received some of these things, and I noticed many others were, and still are putting their hope in this method of completeness in the world, and too among God’s true children in Christ. At the time I thought this must be the way.
I have also put my hope in other living things such as pets. Many today do get their completeness in taking care of their pets, and having a relationship with them is much easier than having a relationship with a human. Some people receive more, and more pets until they have come to the point not one or two is enough so they invest their time and money into getting more, and different kinds.

Many love animals more than people because an animal can’t talk back, argue with you, or tell you a truth you need to face or hear. They only need food, love and care with no communication. All things internal can be hid from them, so many invest their hope in their pets completing their joy and love because they can hide the truth from them much easier.
I noticed others put their hope in the earth itself as being something that gives them their completeness. The earth, wind, water, plants, animals, and seasons of the earth bring them their completeness. They use the wisdom of the Indians for their way to follow. They put their hope in the earth itself for their completeness.
After putting all my hope in most of these methods myself I still was not complete, and there was still was something nagging at me deep inside I was missing, although I still did not know what it was.

Then the day had come to the end of my search. It is strange to find yourself lost and confused, when you think you are going the right way and then God appears by way of His Son through His Spirit, and He shows you how truly lost and confused you truly are putting your hope in so many people, and things other than Him and what He did for you on the Cross.
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
I had been to church, I had done all the work, and I had no change within myself because I did not know God, and I had not received the Spirit of God to tell me what and who my hope was supposed to be in, Him, and Him alone. I truly had not been to the Cross by the gift of repentance through His Spirit, and I had not seen the difference His presence and grace makes in relation to myself, and the world I lived in. What we put our hope in does not come from this world, it comes from Him, and He is the only One that is bigger than ourselves and the world!
The Holy Spirit teaches us all things, even the deep secrets of God, Satan, the spirits of this world and the spirits in Heaven. Only when a person goes to the Cross, and gives their life to Him can a person receive the Spirit of God that opens up the understanding of His word without confusion so one can divide it correctly, and live the way in truth a person is to live.
Jesus said to his disciples:
John 14:25 “All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
John 16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.
Only through the Spirit of His Son did I receive the love of God, not through my natural self. That is the only way I could know how much God loved me because only through the Son can I know, because only the Father loves the Son as we should be loved, and only does the Son have what the Father has.
The moment we receive Christ our journey begins in finding the end of that truth in who we are, and putting our Hope in Him only making us who we are through the rest of our journey here on earth. We know in that moment our soul only rest in Him, our hope only rest in Him giving us all we need of Himself every day because we have given Him our lives for everyday to live through. We know He is bigger than the world we live in.

He is the only One we put our hope in, because He is the only One that completes us through His presence we receive. Has His grace affected you that way? Has His grace given you the heart to repent of your sinful nature? Has His grace shown you the difference within yourself that separates you and the world you live in? Only through Him can we love God with all of our Soul, heart and mind, and only through Him can we be separated from this world into His, and love people with His interest and not our own.
Today the other people, the accomplishments, the pleasures, and the good works are like a shadow of hope compared to what He gives me of Himself. His faith, hope, and love completes me, fills me up, and then pours out on others with His truth of faith, hope and love He can only give!  We may receive children, pets, husbands, vacation spots, accomplishments, and many blessings along with all the good works he does through us for others throughout our journey with him but they all can come and go. What He gives of Himself takes us through eternity, and fills us up now internally not needing any other method of this world, but Him to put your hope in.
1 John 3:1-3 How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And this what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him for we shall see him as he is. Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.
Putting our hope in Him is the only hope that never fails in finding our completeness within ourselves. Those that have His hope purifies themselves, so they know the truth of who they are. He is the only One that came from God himself to show us God’s faith, love and hope that changes us by His presence. His love ends our journey of searching, and my hope is in Him that you too will find the end of your search so you may find Him sooner than I did. What kind of friend would I be if I did not tell you what He has taught me about who, and what we are to put our hope in?

If you see yourself as one of these people putting their hope in any other method the world shows or tells you, or yourself tells you, then the good news is you can repent by what He has given you through this message. Go to the Cross tell him you are through putting your hope in other people, and things of this world and you are ready to put your hope only in Him making you and molding you into the image He desires.  He will forgive you, and give you the Spirit of truth to teach you He is all you need to put your hope in!! You will be taken past this world into His presence now through His Spirit, and your true life can begin!  His presence is real!!

His faith, hope and love always.

Is your overflow from your new heart irritating to others?

“For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.”

Have you ever been around someone that continues to say the right thing, and is always sharing great wisdom and encouragement from God’s word? Does it irritate you, or are you drawn to them? I was never around anyone most of my life that overflowed out of their hearts God’s word and wisdom. Now that I truly know Him by His presence living in me I am drawn to them, and can’t wait to hear and share what overflows out of their hearts He has given them through their mouths to bear fruit for Him.

Luke 6:43 “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit.
Before I knew my Lord I did not talk about Him at all, in fact He was the farthest thing from my heart and mind. Out of my mouth came all kinds of wisdom, some good, and some bad. The good that came out of my mouth was about me and what I could do own my own to make my life better, and it had nothing to do with faith in God giving me all I needed of himself through Christ to make my life better. Jesus, His life was never mentioned or acknowledged, nor was His faith, and the Cross. The bad was coarse joking, making fun of others and their weaknesses, joking about my weaknesses, and a lot of godless chatter.
The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart.
Since I received Him from the Cross I have had a different heart and a renewed mind and what has come out of my mouth since then has been much different than what came out of my mouth before. His word dwells in me because He does. I have a new heart totally devoted to Him. The bad fruit I am willing to cut out for Him because my heart is truly his, and His good knowledge, understanding, wisdom from His nature He puts in. Those are all his gifts and fruits that I bare from the good tree He has made me.
His good wisdom is much different than my good wisdom. His wisdom makes my wisdom seam foolish, and what overflows from my heart that comes out of my mouth may seem foolish to others. Some that use to be close to me before persecute my righteousness now, but it is not mine, it is His because it is His wisdom, his thoughts, his words and ways he has stored up in my heart that come out of my mouth. I am no longer a tree that bears bad fruit I am His tree that bears His fruit.
1 Corinthians 1:28 He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things-and the things that are not-to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God-that is, our righteousness, holiness, and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: “Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.”
Before I had evil overflowing from my heart, my own wisdom, course joking, making fun of others and their weaknesses, and godless chatter. I was a bad tree bearing bad fruit but I did not experience persecution from my loved ones because we were all bearing the same kind of fruit, from the same kind of tree. We all were not living by God’s Holy word, wisdom and applying it to our lives daily to live by.
Once I gave my life fully to Christ I began bearing God’s fruit, His ways, and thoughts through His word. I began being persecuted from some that were closest to me, family, friends and other “Christians” they began getting irritated by His wisdom that overflowed from His new heart he had given me was coming out of my mouth, and some didn’t desire to be around me any longer. His truth should have been embraced and shared was being persecuted.
Matthew 5:10-12 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,  for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. Bless are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
If a person has fully surrendered to God, Jesus tells us, this will happen to them because of Him. If a person’s heart truly belongs to Jesus persecution will not keep them from doing His will. They will continue to overflow out of their mouth what He has put in their hearts no matter the cost.  Their heart truly does belong to Him.
Matthew 13:23 But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.
Many today because of the trouble of persecution against His righteousness He has given them through His word fall away from God. Many would rather please themselves, their loved ones, communities, churches, friends, and co-workers than please God. God tells us these trees will not produce His crop because their hearts are not truly his because once persecution comes they quickly fall way. He tells us they do not continue to grow and produce His fruit.
Matthew 13:20 The one who received the seed that fell on rocky place is the man who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since he has no root, he last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away.
Today if you have noticed within yourself the overflow of His righteousness is coming out of your mouth is irritating to others keep your heart completely soft and devoted to Him do not fall away because of persecution or a fear of others persecuting you in any way. Be more fearful of God and losing your heart being fully devoted to Him.  He will provide for you what you need within yourself to continue, and he will take care of others that are persecuting you and who you are praying for because you are completely His!

Is He truly your Lord by confessing with your mouth and heart?

During the past couple of weeks I have enjoyed watching the Olympics in Rio. Rio is one of the places  I pray to see because of the statue of Jesus over looks the city much like we can imagine He overlooks this world. I come from a long line of athletes that are in my family. I have a little athleticism in me, not very much, but I do enjoy watching those that have an abundance in most sports. It has always amazed me what a person can do athletically when he puts his mind to it.

During my youthful years, and many adult years, before I knew my Lord, I thought very highly of a person who had a great work ethic. I lifted a person up in my mind and heart who followed their dreams, and accomplishing what they set out to accomplish own their own by their own strength. I thought very highly of a person who could create their own work ethic, and followed it by His own strength.  I was inspired by those who pushed themselves past where they had been spiritually, physically, and emotionally through their own power and grace or acceptance they received from others in the world.

I admired them and who they set out to be with all their gifts and pushing themselves to the highest level they could possibly get! I boasted about them, gave all credit to them and those that encouraged them. I worshiped some as an idol, and they inspired me to move past where I had been. It did not matter what dream I was living at the time in my own life I used them to inspire me to accomplish it. I thought if they can make a dream come true they wanted I can too, if I work hard, and if I believe in myself; I can do it!
Then I met my Lord and Savior and my heart and mind completely changed direction as I was willing to let Him change them every day because of who He was by the presence of Him I received from the Cross. As soon as I received Him my whole thought process changed by Him through the Holy Spirit. He became the person I lived for and I became the person He lived in and through.

He took me where I had never been in my mind, He gave me gifts, gave me a work ethic that went past my own ability, and gave me a strength and acceptance that  inspired me further than I had ever been. He also has given me other true children of God that know Him as I do. We give Him all the glory and praise with our mouth, Him being our Lord on any platform we are given, and with our hearts walking as He did.
Now when I see an athlete, or any other person that has gifts, and accomplishments I know where they get all the gifts, the work ethic, the passion, the ability, and the grace or acceptance to accomplish all they dream or want to accomplish. What hurts me now that I know Him, and all He is that gives us life, is not many confess His name as Lord with their mouth when given a platform to glorify Him, nor do they show He is the treasure they hold most dear to their hearts.  What hurts me now is what hurts Him because He is within me through His Spirit.

I am sure I hurt Him, and His true children when I did not acknowledge Him as Lord of my life. When a person receives Him they know His forgiveness and mercy he gives them to begin with Him for the first time being their Lord or begin again with Him being their Lord. Today may be your day to begin for the first time or begin again as Him being your true Lord of your life filling your heart and mind, and confessing it with your mouth!
Luke 12:8 “I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man, will also acknowledge him before the angels of God. But he who disowns me before men will be disowned before the angels of God.
Matthew 5:20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and dust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
John 15:15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
A persons worldly accomplishments, their own work ethics, passions of this world, fulfilling their dreams, wealth, fame and acceptance from others will all pass away, and they will come to the end of their life without true love, peace, and joy that never fails. I know this because before I knew Him I did know His love, peace, and joy that went past my own natural human understanding.  His peace is Him that goes past this world and past our dreams, past our own way, and working out our own accomplishments own our own.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

A person without Christ will be missing out on God’s favor, and acceptance from His gift of grace that takes any person past whatever they can accomplish on their own through their natural or spiritual gifts here and now. I know because I know the person I use to be before I knew Him. What good does it do if a person gains the whole world but loses his very soul?
Matthew 16:24-26 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life (soul) will lose it, but whoever loses his life (soul) for me will find it. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?
If a person is not losing their soul for His sake they are missing out on His will, His wisdom, His grace, His faith, His path, plans, and His future for their life that can take them past themselves and this world now into the next for eternity.

He will get all the glory and praise when a person truly has given their life to Him now and for eternity.  A person who has given Him their heart knows He is their most gifted treasure. They know He has given them a platform to glorify Him!
Romans 10:8-10 But what does it say? The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, this is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: This if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the death, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Today are you giving Jesus glory by confessing with your mouth He is your Lord no matter where you are or the platform He has given you to speak from, and are you revealing He is the most gracious treasure of your heart from your way of life changing into His ways, thoughts and desires? If you are then you are already praising Him by way of your mouth being your Lord, and giving Him all glory from your heart as you being His child. You have lost your life for His sake, and found your true one!

If not, today you can begin being His true child by going to the cross and repenting of not acknowledging Him in all your ways, by confessing with your mouth, “Jesus Christ is Lord”  every day, and living through His heart in all ways He has given you on any platform in life every day!  He loves to prove who He is in your life everyday as you surrender yours to His when you speak and walk. He wants to take your soul and spirit past yourself and this world now into total freedom from yourself and this world into Heaven for His Kingdom!

Are we testing the spirits, and if we are, how are we?

Good morning to all, grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

This world we live in gets further and further away from God has my journey continues in this body, spirit and soul my Lord has given me. Today we are going to talk about testing the spirits of ourselves, and others and how are we suppose to be doing that if we truly belong to him, and letting him work in, and through us for others.

Many people today read, "Do not judge" and take those three words and receive the wrong meaning. When you receive this wrong it will give you an attitude of not caring how anyone else lives as long as you are living the way you are suppose to, and no one else in how they live truly should matter to us enough to tell them the truth.  Or if we think to highly of ourselves we will be judging to harshly, we will feel bitterness and hatred toward them.

God tells us we are suppose to judge, but make a right judgment. We need to judge correctly not hypocritically, or harshly but  by the right measure of compassion and mercy. The only measure of attitude we can judge correctly through is, through Christ. That is always after he has gotten all the flesh eating confusion out of us, then He can judge correctly through us for someone else to benefit in knowing his faith and grace that can save them. If we judge harshly, or wrongly through the flesh and not through the Spirit of God we will be the blind leading the blind.  There is a lot of people that are blind leading the blind today.  This does not mean we will compromise the lie in any way but uphold his truth against the lie.  All spirits in us that are not given to us through Christ is a lie.   All battles within our souls, spirits and body that do not proclaim faith in Christ is a lie.  If you are a drug addict, homosexual, transgender, in deep depression, deep sadness from shame, fear or guilt, and idolize anything above him, that is all battles of Satan against Christ.
With this written we are going to apply God's wisdom with all souls that are struggling through life thinking they have to fight off their own temptations from all kinds of  battles within, which will grow into giving in to them because you get weary of the fight when you think you have to fight the battle yourself.  Look to the cross, he died for you, placing all of your battles upon him to set you truly free!

2 Chronicles 32:8 With him is only the arm of the flesh, but with us is the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles. And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said.

Through what Christ did for us on the cross we have the power of the Holy Spirit of God to fight our battles within our spirit, souls and body. He has overcome our sinful nature by nailing it to the cross and we now receive him at the cross to live through us. He saves us from all battles that we are drowning in, which we all have against our souls, body and spirit.  As long as we keep fighting the battles alone we will be drowning in them.  DO NOT GIVE IN TO THE BATTLES AND THINK YOU ARE SETTING YOURSELF FREE. GIVE THEM TO GOD  AND FIGHT THE FIGHT OF FAITH THAT HE WILL FIGHT FOR YOU! HE WILL AND ONLY THROUGH HIM WILL YOU BE TRULY FREE. What will He do when he is fully in us because we have fully given him all of ourselves to live through? He tells us in 1 John 4 that His Spirit will test other spirits.  Is this happening to you today?  Are you allowing the Holy Spirit to do his work in you, so he can test your spirits and then test other spirits in others for all can benefit from his truth. Or are you hindering the Spirits power in you because you would rather please yourself and others before him?

1John 4:1-3 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.  This is how  you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God. but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

Why are many today not testing the spirits of others? What would keep them from seeing Christ revealing to him the testing from His Spirit in them and through them for others?

Would you rather hurt God instead of yourself? Would you rather hurt God instead of your children? Not knowing when you put your children above God you are truly hurting them more than you realize. Would you rather disappoint God instead of your religion and it's creed and rules? Not knowing that putting your religion and creed above him hurts him more than you realize. Would you rather disappoint God instead of the world?  Having fear of hurting the world above him hurts the world more than anything. When you think you are doing a good service for the world by living a lie, when truly you are hurting it more than helping it. This is the way most of us live today without realizing it, and God is in Heaven looking down to see who's hearts are truly his. Do you have more fear of disappointing yourself, and people than fear of disappointing God?  Many of us today do not ask  ourselves these important questions, nor do others ask them for someone else to benefit from. Some of us today know the answers but are not willing to share them with others in fear of loosing the respect from others, or acceptance from others. When truly all they need to carry them through in life is God's acceptance they are robbing themselves from.  Who are we truly devoted too in this age and time?  His truth is the only truth that will truly set a person free. His truth is received only from the foot of the Cross, through Jesus Christ our Lord, all other wisdom, and thoughts above him is a lie each person is living in.

1 Chronicles 28:9 And you my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, (David is talking to Solomon) and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you fore sake him, he will reject you forever.

Through Christ we have the Holy Spirit to hold on too and to guide our hearts in full devotion to God, and His love he gives us through His Spirit will always keep us straight, because our heart is His and the Holy Spirit of God living in us keeps us safe and teaches us all things we need to know about God, ourselves, Satan and the world with endless teachings and thoughts of God.  We know we cannot keep any motive, and thoughts away from him, and he knows all the secret battles within ourselves more than we know ourselves.

So today if you have been fighting a battle for years and years and you think you know the direction to go in, test the spirits of yourself by the Word of God. Are they right with God or are they headed in another direction? Are the spirits of others right with God because through the Spirit you have tested them, and will continue to test them? Are you willing to let the Holy Spirit in you free to do his work through you for others by testing others and the spirits that they are speaking and walking through? Are they proclaiming Christ or they proclaiming antichrist?

If your spirit is not right with God, go now to the cross and call out to the Lord, give yourself to him and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and His faith, so he can do his work in you to fight your battles through his grace and power. He will and wants to, if you give your battles to him truly, and remember he knows if you are truly seeking him or not.  He knows your motives, so be truthful, ask yourself your motives, and give all to him!

If you are already truly his and have the Holy Spirit in you, let Him do His work through you for others for all to benefit from. Love them through His truth that can save all people from their battles within. Tell them His truth through His compassion for them that he has given you, so he can save them from fighting their own battles, and he will fight them and prove to them who he truly is, if they hold on to His faith he has given them. You then will give Him all the glory for fighting your battles, and theirs, thanking him for all the gifts of himself he has given you from the cross each day!

His peace and love always.

Has God's power left you to touch someone else?

Good morning to all, grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

This morning when my husband left for work around 6:15 a.m., I began praying for his safe passage to work as I do every morning, but this morning I had an encounter with my Lord and felt his power in and all over my body for my husband I had not experienced fully before.I looked at my clock so I would not forget the time this encounter took place, it was 6:38 a.m.  My mind received these thoughts instantly, "Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me."

Luke 8:46 But Jesus said, "Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me."

I am going to take you back in time with me about a month and a half ago in where I was in my marriage. I was in great despair in wanting my husband , Richard, to truly understand the grace and mercy of our God through His first Holy Son Jesus Christ. We had been married thirty years, and 29 of those years we were lost to our Savior and our true selves, not being one in mind, desires and thoughts as a married couple. We loved each other but we had accepted the pit we had become living in as our lives, and waded in the muck for the last 29 of our thirty years not realizing there was so much more in life and in ourselves that we were missing together. We let each other live separate lives together. Despite the fact I had received my Savior ten years ago, and Richard had a brief encounter with our Savior about twenty years ago, our Savior had not become the center of our lives together at the same time.

Richard did not keep close what God first had given him through His Son when he first met him over twenty years ago. Richard had let the cares of this world quickly snatch our Saviors words and what he was was offering Him from his mind and heart. During our 30 years of marraige we both had two children together,(I had a son from a previous marriage) bills and jobs. We both have had afflictions, trails and sins that have multiplied due to our rebellion and not receiving what He was offering. We have had huge financial difficulties and we have had great financial breakthroughs we have overcome ourselves, and giving ourselves the credit for all we had done.

When I had received my Savior ten years ago, I did not let what He had given me from the first moment I received Him go anywhere from my mind and heart. We all can give all to Him but not all will, this is our own personal relationship with Him. Each person is different but he is not. I have  held on to Him for life, and I meant for life when I gave my life to Him. A life consists of moments our Lord gives us now.  His grace had a huge effect on me, and once His grace touched my heart I did not let anything or anyone separate what He had given me.  He gave me what I needed to keep Him close, as He does with every person each day during test after test of proving his love is true and real. Not all will keep him above all else in what He gives. Some would rather keep what they choose over him. The cares of this world, my sins, trials and afflictions was no match for what He had given me of himself. I was at the end of my search and had found what I was looking for all of my life, His love, and gifts of himself from the cross fulfilled all I needed within myself. I did not put anything or anyone above Him from the first moment I received Him and His faith in His Father he had given me led me to every moment in life I faced. I knew my husband would someday see the change in me and embrace what God had given me of himself for His glory and praise. I knew Richard would want to have what our Savior had given me in the fullness of His Son at the cross. I did not know when and how but I knew God would draw Richard to Christ some way.

When my husband and I got married 30 years ago, we both loved each other very much deep from our souls. We both had been married before and knew this love we had was different. We knew God had brought us together but neither of us knew God personally. The circumstances were proof in how God brought us together. We both knew a higher power other than ourselves was involved. We did not know the Bible at all, we did not go to church, nor did we seek to know him, but we knew enough to know something greater than ourselves had given us a gift of love we had never experienced before.

I know many of you are going to say, "Vicki, it is a process in getting to know him, that is how he works." It does not matter how he works or if we know he is doing the work, if we do not acknowledge him personally by his love entering our hearts all the other knowledge we know of him will not matter. We can know many things about God but if we do not know him personally all those other things we know about him does not matter. We can live out our lives knowing he created the earth, created us and created all the stars and moon but if we do not know Him personally the other knowledge we know about him will not reveal ourselves in who we truly are loved by him and how we truly love him. There are many gods in this world but only one Savior.

The cross is the only way we can truly know God in who he is within ourselves in how he truly created us to be and live out our lives here and for eternity. We have to keep what He gives us of Himself daily at the cross to truly know His potential within ourselves. The way we keep Him close is by denying what is not Him in us, and He gives us that truth within ourselves when we receive Him to share  that truth with others. Richard had not repented  from what he needed to give up above God because of the cares of this world, and Richard keeping his own desires in coping with this world he wanted to keep above our Savior doing all the coping. A classic example of letting go and letting God again proven to be the hardest thing a person has to do.

One of those desires Richard had found to help him with the cares of this world above God was beer. It was a habit he did want to get away from but on his own terms. The habit he let turn into an addiction had taken over his mind and body and I wanted no part of. This is what divided us as a husband and wife along with other cares and worries for all of those years, but this one was the most powerful in controlling Richards body and mind. I had been praying for 10 years for my husband, and going to church without him. I was praising God alone, reading my Bible alone, and praying alone. Richard tried many times to please me but with out  true peace. Richard supported my ministry, my writing and what God was giving me as long as I would leave him alone and let him live like he wanted to.This broke my heart more and more everyday. I could not sit and watch any longer someone I loved as much as I loved him drawn in the pit he had created for himself. More importantly God could not watch without a true sacrifice showing his faith given to me for Richard was genuine. I had to show God I could sacrifice myself for my husband. Much like the women had to sacrifice her comfort in the crowd to prove the faith he had given her was genuine. This is why his power was released, she sacrificed her own comfort for his faith he had given her.You cannot please God without His gift of faith he has freely given you at the cross.

A month and a half ago from this day I stepped out in God's gift of faith and left. I went nine hours away from home to live with my grown daughter and my three year old granddaughter. There were a hundred comfortable reasons to stay, but I know I had to give up myself for God to work through me for Richard. I kept telling Richard over and over before I left many words of love God had for him, but one day God is going to give me the courage to leave him, and he will live alone. That day came and I was gone, and Richard was alone. Our son Avery was in college, and my daughter lived nine hours away. After a week of being angry, resentful and prideful, God put my husband on his knees. Richard could no longer function, could think, or live without thinking of what we meant to one another through what God was giving Him. He repented of all his sinful nature, and the cares of this world he had put above our creator. Richard then called me and told me about his repented heart and how he wanted to change for God and to know his love everyday. Not only did God work through my absence in Richard's heart he was working on me in giving me the love I had been missing for my husband. I saw my husband in a new light, not only because he had changed his mind or heart but because God had given me more of his love in my own heart for Richard. His power of love and faith was leaving both of us through Him for one another. I could feel God's grace and power leaving me for Richard, and Richard could feel His power leaving him for me.

This morning I was touched by my husbands love and my love for my husband in a new way through the power of Christ while I prayed for his safe journey to work. I have always loved my husband but through this experience God worked more of himself in both of us. I am at home now with Richard after a month of waiting on God to bring us together. The power I feel and experience when I pray for Richard now touches my body in a new way. My Lords power leaves me through prayer and my husband receives it. It feels like every breath is full of love, every bone, and every pore on my skin is enriched by my Savior's touch when I think of Richard or pray for him. I feel His power has gone out of me toward my husband and His power through my husband touches me. We both are one with our Savior being our only Savior and Lord. God truly proves his power in a marriage when they truly both give themselves to Him.We both are now wanting to share our thoughts and struggles in who brings us together in one thought, that leads us out of our trails in what he gives us of Himself. It is a new marriage, a new life together and individually sharing what he gives each of us on his given days that grow in his love, faith and hope. We are growing in our true selves by His faith we share with one another. We now know the love that brought us together was His and it would be His that brought us together again and this time we would keep what He was giving us both!  A true man and woman made one with God's power leaving him and growing in one another no man can bring apart!

I have lived alone in my home for ten years with God sharing with others his love but now I live with my husband Richard sharing with Him God's true and amazing love that leaves all of us and touches each other.

What amazing future he has planned for each of us together! I cannot wait and see what He has planned for us together for the first time!!!  It is never to late in a persons life to give themselves to God totally without excuse, and two is always better than one to share his love with!!

I like to thank God for all of you that prayed for our relationship. By His power in your prayers they touched us, and he proved His power working in all of us! One of my next books God led me to write through Richards suggestion is, "While you were in her you were working on me", this can also be said through a husband of God. "While you were in him you were working on me." This message will let everyone know if you truly belong to God He will always work through you for others his way and through his time. What an amazing message of hope, love and wisdom he has given us to share with others no matter who they are.

His love and peace always.

"Do you truly love me more than these?" Jesus said to Simon Peter

Good afternoon to all, grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I am at a place in life thirty years ago I thought I would not ever have to face.  My dear husband , my best friend, and I are separating. I have been married for thirty years, but as most of you know God changed me drastically eight years ago.

My Lord's grace had a huge effect on me as if I had a surgical operation inside. My thinking, speaking, loving and living changed the moment his love touched my soul and I was willingly to give all to him everyday from that day forward. His presence has given me so much love, grace, faith and a hope that never fails as I am willingly to put him above all.

As my Father and I grew in our love for each other I could tell by my husbands conversations and body language he did not feel the same about our Heavenly Father has I did. God prepared me for the day I would have to leave by what He gave me of himself I was able too. I do not blame my husband, it is not about blame, it is about God's truth in who he is for all human kind.
Each of us have to face his truth within ourselves on our own journey. I have prayed many times for all people in my life, and those I do not know, including myself, that we will be wanting to go toward our Father by what he gives us instead of away from Him. This we know by what he gives us inside by the gift Himself for those that accept Him and His love for who He is.

There were 100 reasons for me to stay, but I gave those up for the one true reason that compelled me to go. That reason was the love my Father has for me and my husband. Although my husband does not know His love that passes all understanding of love we have on our own, I know he will by what God gives me of Himself with his faith, hope and love that never fails. Please do not misunderstand me, this was not a easy move for me. With it came many tears but my Father wiped them all.

It is because I loved, love, and will continue to love my Father more than anything and anyone in this world by all He gives me of himself that I know my Heavenly Father will care for my husband. God will use every resource to bring my husband to Him and receive the love God has stored for him. My Father will care for him in my absence, and we will give him the glory and the praise for all He saves from themselves, Satan and the world.

Give your cares to God and he will care for you is one of the truths our Father loves to prove to his reborn children. How He cares for us and our loved ones will always amaze us!!

Our Father's love is only offered through His Holy Son Jesus Christ at the cross. It is a relationship open to all of his natural children on earth when they are lead by his love wanting to surrender all of their lives to Him. Through Christ they can receive His life giving Spirit that changes them. He will ask and test us to prove to ourselves and others that we do love Him by the faith he gives us above all things and all people. This way He can prove who he is for his reborn children and get the glory and the praise for all that he gives each of us who are willing to give all to him.

His love and peace always,
Vicki Gann

Is true instant forgiveness a "pipe dream" for you?

Good morning to all, grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Yesterday I went to take our tax forms to our tax man; it is that time of year. His name is Frank. God had already led me to design some post cards with His salvation message through Christ on it. When Frank and I were finished with filling out our tax forms I asked him if he would allow me to put some of my cards in his reception area. He told me very kindly it would be alright. I had been a client of Franks for the past seven years. I only have spoken to him briefly about what I do, and he has never made a comment or opened a door for me to ask him about his salvation. He made it clear all other times this was a business and nothing personal about him would be discussed.

I respected his wishes but we have always had a great relationship in our sense of humor about the world and ourselves. This day however, through the post cards a door was being opened, and I had no idea at the time the opening they were creating. I sensed through the Holy Spirit Frank's spirit was troubles and he was having a very bad day. I was compelled  by God's love for him to go deeper into our Lord's salvation message. I felt God preparing his heart through his circumstances, although I never knew what they were.

I asked him plainly if I could ask him a question. He said, "As long as it is not personal." I smiled and chuckled a little, and said, "Well... it kinda is." ( The most personal question there is) He said with a very small grin, "Go on, you can ask me." Smiling back at him I asked , "Do you know the love of our Savior Jesus Christ?" I told him that is what I do, share his love through all his talents and gifts he gives me through himself. He looked at the card again and said, "I see that". He then said, "My last girl friend told me I failed that test." I asked him again, "What do you say, not your girlfriend,  about him; who do you say he is?" He then said, "I can tell you the problem I have." I said with deep compassion, "Please do, I would love to know." He said with great assurance, "I do not think it is possible to be instantly forgiven for all of our  mistakes, sins or bad choices in life. That, to me, sounds very foolish, and it is a pipe dream that many have and never experience.

" I said, " I totally understand your problem and you are right that does sound very foolish, and I also agree with you not many have truly experienced his forgiveness." I also said with a pause, " But that is the miracle of who he is and his love! If this plan made sense to our human nature, that it was easy to understand and do, then, I do not think God could take any credit for the plan and purpose if it was something possible for us to do on our own, do you? His forgiveness for all past and present sins does sound like a "pipe dream" to all of us when we are living and thinking in our human nature. God made us that way so He could take credit for all that he gives us through his Son. That way he could have mercy on all people. It is the ONLY dream that actually can come true with his promises and the only real experience for every living and breathing soul that truly matters. But if you have never been touched by his love and grace this forgiveness that you call a "pipe dream" you will never understand, receive or experience. It will always remain a "pipe dream."

Readers keep in your mind these facts, Frank has been living in America all of his life, he is in his sixties, he has built up a wonderful business, and is very successful. Frank does not live in a foreign country, and has always been available to hear and see God in his majesty and grace freely spoken to this day.He is a very kind man, and is looked up too by many, but I do not think that matters to him. He seams to have an attitude that he does not care what people think of him, but he seams to be a very sad and a unhappy man deep inside. He has been to church and walked out feeling empty inside, he also has read the Bible, and put it down feeling empty inside, never having a desire out of pleasing someone else, or out of duty to continue to read it. All this Frank has revealed to me over the years in very small rain drops, but Frank was not willing to hear more of the truth so God would not intervene.

This day Frank wanted to know and God worked his power of grace through me for him. I explained to my dear friend that God's forgiveness and love comes when our hearts are tired, broken and weary in our search for peace and true love. I said, "God draws us to him by His love through many things in his creation and he also does through others, as he is doing right now, through him loving you through me." I ask him, "Do you feel God's love right now? He said, "Yes I do, I was having a bad day until you walked in." I told him it was not I that made his day better, it was Christ through me making his day better. Christ lives in me and he has loved me by his grace and now he is loving you by His grace through me.  He said, "I may never think differently about this forgiveness you are talking about, I may always think it is a "pipe dream". I told him that God's love and grace is waiting for him any day he wanted to ask Jesus Christ truly to come into his heart he would, but I and our Savior and Father would never force him to know his forgiveness and grace but he would always tell him about it.

I told him It is because of who Christ is, and who our Father is, and because of their mercy, not from anything he has done or will do. I went on and told him, God, our true Father would truly forgive his sins because He truly can by His love and grace he wants to give him.

Titus 3:3 At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another, but when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He save us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus our Savior, so that, have been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having hope of eternal life.

I begged  him through God's fullness of compassion to go home after this hard day and speak to God and he would reveal his forgiveness to him if he is willing to give up all of himself, his human sinful nature, then Christ would give to him his nature and goodness that would wash him clean with HIS TRUE mercy and forgiveness. I said with great joy and compassion, "The same faith Jesus Christ had in God His Father will become your own, because he truly lives to live in you from this exchange of natures you are willing to make at the cross, you will be a changed person living daily through out your life with His fullness of faith through His fullness of Spirit. This is God's first plan of forgiveness you have to accept through His Son  before you can receive all the other plans he has for you.

Colossians 2:9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority. In him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of the sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of men but with the circumcision by Christ, have been buried with him in baptism and raised with him through your faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead.

I left, not knowing what Frank will do next. I will pray for him, and through the cards I left in his office that he was so kind to allow me to leave, he may come to truly know what he calls a "pipe dream" of forgiveness truly is the most real experience a living soul or person can experience. Do you too think his forgiveness is a "pipe dream" or has it been the most REAL truth and experience you have ever had in this life time and know it will be forever? His love and peace always!

Who's words are we accepting and who are we rejecting?

Good morning, grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Yesterday I went to visit a friend that was very ill with cancer. It started in her brain and now has spread through out her body. We went on her back porch to visit and she sat down in a comfortable chair, reached in her pocket and pulled out a pack of cigarettes. She reached in the pack of cigarettes to pull one out, put it to her mouth, lit it and puffed her first breath. She looked at me and said, "I am so thankful you do not condemn me for my bad habit and make me feel like I have to hide it from you."

Before I give you my response I would like to tell you something about myself that some of you may not know. I use to be a smoker myself, and also did a lot of other bad habits I was not proud of but did them anyway. There are those, like I was, that do not have his grace and the addiction will always turn into something else even when they overcome one through their own strength, there will always be another that comes back to haunt them. It is a endless journey of confusion. My eyes were closed and my heart had been heart had been deadened.

John 12v 37 Even after Jesus had done all these miraculous sings in their presence, they still would not believe in him.

v40 "He has blinded their eyes and deadened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts nor turn- and I would heal them.

Others in Christ may begin to think the addiction is more powerful in them than His grace if they don't continue in his gift of faith accepting who he is and begin to reject his words. We often begin taking pride in ourselves being the one to save us. If we start rejecting the truth of who he is by not accepting his words or never begin accepting who He is and rejecting his words we will be condemning ourselves by the very words he spoke to us. This is proven through Judas Iscariot and his relationship with Jesus. It is also proven through all the people who did not accept Jesus and rejected his words. They remain confused and lost with continued trouble in their hearts remaining in darkness. This is proven today as well, he remains the same person of God, Son of Man, with the same words to save us. There are many things that keep our eyes shut and deadened our hearts so we will not turn in repentance so God will heal us. There are many reasons a person does not confess his faith in fear of loosing power, friends and pride in themselves being the one to save them.

John 12:42 Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in Him. But because of the Pharisees they would not confess their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue, for they loved praise from men more than praise from God.

I know now my pride in myself being strong enough to stop me from my bad habits cannot  stop me from my bad habits, and my pride will always lead me to more I cannot control. I wanted credit for all the good I wanted to do within myself so I was rejecting Him and His words. I was not receiving His peace only confusion. I also know now His light cannot continue to grow in me if I continue in darkness. The only way I stopped my bad habits was to give them to my Lord and by His powerful gift of grace I was able to stop all bad habits.  I am not talking about sin and unbelief. I am talking about what is most common in man. I am talking about His will being lived out in our lives. I am not saying if you do smoke you are not going to Heaven,  if you over eat you are not going to Heaven or if you over drink alcohol  you are not going to Heaven. I am saying what is common to man in his day to day life can keep you from living God's will in your life. I am saying everyone can live a brighter and brighter life with the darkness fading more and more when we give up all that is not him in us for God, for our Father's sake who speaks through Jesus His First and Holy Son! He too will also be speaking through us for His glory as He spoke through Jesus if Jesus is fully living His light through us.

John 12:44 Then Jesus cried out, "When a man believes in me, he does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. When he looks at me he sees the one who sent me. I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.

When grace is within us through His presence we can say no to all bad habits and all ungodliness, it out weighs any false pleasure we are receiving from these false securities we have become to count on. It is not I who condemns or judges myself it is Him that judges me and keeps me on the straight and narrow path to save me from the darkness overtaking me by what he gives me of Himself. It is not I who saves me or the world around me, it is Him in me that saves me and the world around me through me.

Now that you know my relationship with God and where he has brought me by all that he has given me through the Holy Spirit, I will tell you my response to my friend when she told me she was thankful I did not judge or condemn her when she smoked. I told her I did not come to condemn the world but to save it. I do not judge or condemn but there is one that is greater than me that does.

John 12:47 "As for the person who hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save it. There is a judge for the one who rejects me and  does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day.

He sees you smoking and tells you what that does to the temple he lives in, not I. If you reject Him or His words you will not be living the life he has planned for you and you will be condemned for it.He is the one that judged me, and judges me through his words he spoke and speaks to me, and now he is speaking those same words to you through me for your benefit and mine because he loves you and me. I must speak the words he tells me to speak for your benefit. His interest in you has become my interest in you. It is Him that you disappoint not me, it is his love and grace that is in me for you and it is His grace in you that can save you from all your bad habits so you can live out his will for your life he has given to you. I told my dear friend to accept Him as her Savior and His grace through the words he was speaking to her and He will save her from all darkness that keeps her from receiving His full light. She did accept Him and His words he spoke through me and was able to put the cigarettes down through the power of grace from God she received. I told her to remain in his love by continually accepting Him and His words and He will continue to keep her out of darkness while his light grows more powerful in her for all to see, so everyone will glorify our Father for it!

John 12v49 For I did not speak on my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.

We who are in Christ do not speak on our own accord, we speak the words our Father gives for His truth to be known because we love His living souls. Those souls he reveals to us that are living in darkness we want them to know His light. We listen to His words and never reject them because we accept Him in who He is by what He has given us of Himself. His faith and grace that leads us to eternal life holding on to every word that is spoken from His mouth as those who hear His words through us will  accept and never reject. We are here to save those who are walking in darkness  and do not know His full  light.  We want His light to shine fuller and brighter so they can truly live out their lives in fullness of Him so all can give glory to God this day until the last day appears!

So today who's words are we accepting and who's are we rejecting? If it is only a man's word or a man's presence we are accepting or rejecting then no light of God will be shining in us to defeat the darkness but if we are accepting God through His Son by His living word then yes it is His light that will continue to grow in us with His words that will defeat all darkness in us!! His light of healing grace and power will prove who He is in all of us!
